Slow seedling growth?

ChickenWing1024
ChickenWing1024started grow question 4 years ago
The growth feels quite slow - Have outdoor seedlings growing at a much faster rate (Especially stretching towards the sun) - Could this be my lighting? All sprouted over the last 4 days (50 CM from LED - Just switched over to the VEG only light mode to see if they stretch a bit)

Getting your plants to "stretch" doesn't really mean bigger plants, just taller and more spindly growth and where there is a bigger distances between the nodes, with corresponding stretched and fluffy flowers. Plants growing in full sun with a gazillion watts will grow bigger and faster than under a 400 watt LED light indoors. Have patience with your seedling, she is just a slow starter and try and resist temptation into trying to get her growing faster by bombarding her with nutrients of any sort. Hope this helps,... sometimes the seedling is a slow starter, it just means more time and patience and perhaps a bigger harvest since it takes longer, it also could just be that the seed was older. as long as it is up then keep it going
