Flushing, I've read somewhere that you have to use x3 the amount of water vs soil is this correct?

Hey Elemental, great question. Short answer, god no, that would almost certainly damage your plant. There are two ways to flush in soil and I like the second way better. First way is you water as you normally would, same quantity then add 20% more water. That's a standard flush and you should get that 20% as runoff. I dont really like this technique because the flush is actually stressful to the plant, and you want to "land" the grow gracefully. Second technique is just to water until runoff (not much if any runoff) with plain water for 2 or 3 weeks. This doesnt stress the plant and gives you that nice smooth smoke from a correctly flushed plant. There is actually a third technique which i do use too which is to "flush" with additives like enzymes or chelation agents like humic and fuvic acid, so basically it's the second technique but you add enzymes or whatever, and you can flush for like 10 to 14 days for the same results as a 3 week plain water flush. Hope this helps ! :rocket:
