Humidity dome works but not really the best. The method I use is putting my clones into a Rockwell cube skin edge, dip in rooting gel, and finish with Earth Man's living soil- Root Love. It's the same as recharge except its 100% pure mycholrizal fungi and trichoderma bacteria blend. Recharge and GreatWhite is only 2% mycholrizal fungi and trichoderma bacteria blend. Plus it's only $25. Then I put them right into the soil but, prep my 2×6 grow closet first i turn up the heat to 75degrees F. Then crack my humidifier up on max and place a small 4 inch Vivosun vent fan at the top of the room. A large Fog will build up but, i keep the light just above the level of the vent fan. To prevent condensation build up on the lights. My question is however, why pray tell? Are the two in the cup in flower. They won't make good clones and if they are auto flowers? Then there is no point or way possible to clone an auto flower. You can only clone photo periods.

I always just go straight to substrate with clones and provide fresh nutrition every other day. But I been using a hydro soil for them. Plus crazy as it sounds I spit on the cut end. The saliva is supposed to help protect it while it roots from certain bacteria and fungus. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲👊

As the cutting needs foiler fed to absorb nutrients due to the lack of roots for food absorption a humidity dome is ideal. If not placed inside a humid spot the leaves may need to be frequently sprayed to provide nutrients to root, and combat evaporation. I found my cuttings started wilting within a day if not in a humid location. Also if they were not moved quickly enough the cuttings did not survive. I still am trying to get things right for cloning. Good Luck & Happy on the rooting :)
