Hi all. I’ve asked previously but didn’t have a solution. What could be causing all the plants to have this leaf issue? Feed details are in my diary post. I’d really appreciate your help Thanks for looking

Three days after the flush and they still look like they’re getting worse. I have no idea what’s going on

Ok, that’s was a long session. They’re all flushed with ph balanced water. The fabric pots don’t really let the water though so it’s a long process of waiting for them to drain. Anyhow. It’s done and I’ll leave this open and update . I’ll also update the diary next sat including this information. We wait and hope 🤞🏻

This is the exact same issue im having. I hope you find a way to fix this and if you do please let me know and I'll do the same. Im suspecting calmag w/ my hard water is causing lockouts. Im going to try a flush along with removing cal mag. Ill let you know how it goes

Sound mate, when you've flushed it, remove the worst leaves so you can tell if it's getting worse or not, imo. Just be sure to put enough through the pot and let it sit and drain for a while. Atb

Thanks again. I’m going to leave this open for a day and see what else is suggested but I tend to agree with your thoughts. The fat banana is that most concerning as it lost so much mass and I’m sure that stressed the plant. I’ll flush again and see what happens.

No problem, give it a light feed with the last 2 ltr you put through the plant

👍🏻 I appreciate the help. I think you’re probably right. The cal mag was a low dose and initially only effected the fat banana, which I’d assume was due to the damage caused by the LST mistake. The time line is correct for the cal-mag and the initial change but so many things happed at that point in the grow cycle it’s got me confused. Still a novice so learning all the time - especially when things go wrong. You don’t learn when things go according to plan . Thanks again

Ok, I've had a look. Never used tabs before myself. Firstly as you're in a hard water area, like me, it's unlikely you'll ever need to add calcium as there's so much in the water already, mine comes out the tap at 7.3 ph lowest. So no more cal, I'm thinking that's what caused ya lockout. When flushing a plant, the 'rule of thumb' is 3 x pot size of water going through to clean the salt build up off the roots. So 11 l pot = 33 ltrs. Seems excessive but if you watch the drainage water from the bottom of the pot it'll go from dark brown to almost clear by the time you've done. Ideal way to flush : Take it in the bath, put it on a wire cooling rack or something similar, just so the pot can drain properly from all holes. Then put a minimum of 25 ltrs through it, don't worry about ph'n all of that. You shouldn't have to ph soil as soil buffers ph anyway. Never tested runoff myself. Do you have any bottled flower nutes? The nutes suggested to me, which I now use, were Plant magic soil grow hard water, cannot recommend highly enough, if you can get these, get them/order them today.

Thanks for the message Is your water quality hard or soft? Hard water in my area Do you add calmag. I did once about three weeks ago. Have you fed any nutes at all, if so what and when? Detailed list in the last diary update What is the pot size? 11L Have you flushed the plant, if yes, with how much water? Flushed the fat banana 6 days ago with 7L of water Didn’t flush the others and only gave them water instead of feed. Thanks a million 👍🏻

Hey, thanks for the reply. My feed quantity’s have been one quarter of the recommended amount so I don’t think it’s that. 6 days ago I fed them only water at ph 6.4 and the condition has got worse since then. I’m confused 🤷‍♂️🏼

Hey mate! In my opinion that is a nutrient burn, try flush with only tap water, with the correct pH ( check your ph meter if is accurate too), let some runoff water, after some days with only water, maybe a week or so, start to give again nutrients with 1/3 of the dosage of the brand chart, and increase gradually. Other thing that is important is leaving your tap water at least 24hours getting fresh air to remove the clorine. Very important! Wish with helps!
