Honey on cuttings for Clone?

Hi Growmies, has anyone tried dipping cuttings on honey instead of cloning solutions? i heard its more beneficial and organic? TIA

Possibly beneficial, certainly organic. Sticking it in a banana to root after applying the honey is meant to work too, but takes ages. You can also just put cuttings in a darkened glass of plain water and they will root, for the ultimate organic method, but it will take a month or more for enough roots to grow to make transplanting successful. Using commercial rooting gels/powder/liquids will see roots develop in 7-15 days, meaning a much greater and faster rate of "survivability", as compared to 4-8 weeks without using rooting gel/powder/liquids. I will shortly post some pictures and notes in my diary "cannabis conundrums", week 3, about rooting cuttings in plain water, hopefully by the end of the weekend, depending on my level of inclination!
