How to clone in amended coco coir

So I’ve never cloned b4 and want to give it a try as I want to get into it. The mix I’m getting is a pre made mix specifically made for clones cuttings and seedlings. My main question is how deep would u plant them in 3 inch pots? When would u clone outdoor plants?

If you only have 3 inches then all the way in. Clones need time to produce root hormones and root. Takes about 2 weeks. You can clone anything that is big enough to make the process of forming new roots. In previous grows I would use lower branches prior to flowering that would not ever do much if left on plant.

I'd use bigger pots. best to take clones from lower on the plant and anytime in its veg phase when its older aorund 4-5+ weeks.

I cut off the lowest part node and scratch a bit of stem then put it pre saturated peats.
Pic was day1 day5 and day9.
Question is,does she draw the nutrient from leaves or it something wrong? And how to know if it rooted

Cloning advice. Why do I always kill these things?Hey guys, first time cloning and I'm not sure if I'm correct. Clonex gel, small cuttings (gift). 2 big branches broke off....3 days ago, 2 of the biggest side branches broke off. i placed them insde in a vase with a bit water with a bit nutes. (<5ml/L). they survived this for 3 days now, but they start looking sadder and sadder... will they survive it? or should i just dry them now? theyre far from don

Are they developing roots? Meanwhile fanleaves die off... will they survive?I think theyre starting to make roots, but meanwhile the fan leaves die off... i refress the water every 2 or 3 days with some bloom nutes, dont have any root powder or other nutes. Will they survive?
