Hi Growmies,
just wondering if any have tried this method using banana peel as an organic nutrient solutions?
- 2-3 peels of banana soak on RO water 24-48 hours
- blending the peels and adding it on your watering schedule
any benefits? is it a yay or nay? or totally waste of time

I have used this method... in flower... especially after the 4th week. The extra P and K from the banana water really helped fattening/hardening of the buds.
I use living soil and the mixture is also good for all the microbes.

That method wouldn't be very effective. Banana peels will release potassium and phosphorus, as well as magnesium when they decompose, so you would have to add the banana peel directly to the soil in order to be effective. Happy growing.

How I can check runoff with a scrog net and pot saucers? I have no room to collect runoff lmao.How on earth do I check run off? Lmao!
70cm x 70cm x 200cm tent with 4 DP Auto Ultimate. Spider Farmer SF1000. I use a scrog net and pot saucers. Being already trained will I damage the plants by picking them up a little so i can check run off? Thanks in advance for your advice.

How early do you normally start feeding? Currently growing only autos. Have had great results with my grows so far, but always room for inprovement.I typically wait 4-6 weeks before I start adding any sort of nutrients as I used Fox Farms Happy Frog for my grows. Should I remove parts of leaves ?I suppose it's a something like overwatering + lamp stress.

Why is my run off high?Coco and clay pebbles run off water reading 7.1 and my water going in is at 5.8. How do I fix it? I water twice a day with at least 20% run off every time.
