Just remember, every healthy green leaf you remove will decrease your plants capacity to produce energy, resulting in slower and potentially, smaller growth. Removing leaves to uncover "potential bud sites" is foolish, those "potential bud sites" were relying on the very leaves that were removed, to produce the energy they need for growth! Only yellow leaves should ever be removed. Cheers,....... Organoman.

Hi! Not sure that will answer your question but defoliation is more about helping the light reaching lower leaves/buds, than airflow. Done at the right times, between vegetative and flowering phases, it also help to make good shaped buds. But, if you want advice about one specific diary, you must open question directly from it, in the concerned week. ;)
