Hey everyone. I’m having a little trouble keeping humidity up now that I’m in flower. Does anyone know how to keep the humidity in a tent up during flower without misting? Really don’t want to risk mold

@Athos: I believe he is trying to make sure his humidity doesn’t drop to low and stunt growth. His humidity without misting is typically at 27%. I think his general question should be is 27% too low and if so how does he raise it slightly without misting?

You are only at the begining of flower so your humidity could do with being a little higher but it's not the end of the world. The bigger your plants get the more they will transpire. Underwatering your plants can cause low humidity. Make sure they are getting enough water. You should be fully saturating your pots each time you feed. Then feeding again when the weight of the pot is roughly half of that from the saturated weight. If they dry out more then your underfeeding and adding to your low humidity problems. One budget tip without having to buy a humidifier is to have a bucket of water in your room, and have a towel half in and half out of the bucket, acting as a wick. Standing water does't evaporate very well at all, the towel aids this action. Maybe have a fan blowing over the towel too. Good luck bro, it looks great so far!

Flowering stage does not require special high RH. When i flower my room has 30-45% humidity as i live in dry area. Vegging is different story and i use humidifier. Best of luck

Keeping the space sealed will hold the moisture in the space. But as Athos said that’s not really desired during flower. The plants as they get bigger will transpire more and more water so at some point too much humidity will become a bigger problem

Hi, During flower, you want a low humidity of around 30-40% RH. For veg around 50-65% RH. So if you're flowering now, your humidity is way too high and you are at risk of mold. Increased air flow will lower your humidity.

You can hang a wet towel inside your grow tent and let it dry. It will raise your humidity a little.

You are confused, mold grows on humid conditions, that is high humidity. Low humidity is good, it prevents mold from developing. Anyway, just wait a couple more weeks, then humidity will sky rocket.
