Yes, remove yellow leaves, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose. This can also help to prevent fungal/moulds from forming.
Do not however remove any healthy green leaves, your plant needs them for her best growth.
Maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth.
