I run one that blows over the top of the soil and another over the canopy. Don't see an issue with what you're doing

New grower and high tent temp. please helpSo I have a 2by2 tent and temperature is staying around 80 degrees. I have a total of 3 fans in there and lowered the wattage on my 1000w hydro LED lights. What else can I do to keep it at optimal temperature? Also has a Hydro Co2 booster fan making it 4.

How do you deal with the humidifier in hydro ?So I bought a dehumidifier as advised but now the room gets hotter (Had to setup an extractor to pull the hot air and now I have no intraction) and during the day EC goes up of 0.1 or even 0.2 (from 1.8 to 1.9 or 2). I suppose there are more nutriments because of dehumidificationWeek 9

How can I reduce the heat in my 5x5 tent (650w light bar/6" ac Infinity and a ton of fans) without AC? Do I have to leave tent open?5x5 tent is in a kind of lung room (utility room) that stays around 20C/68F. The tent always seems to be at 30C86F with lights on. Ive added and moved fans, opened more intake vents. I have AC, but its -25C/-13F outside. Id like to drop the daytime temp 5ish degrees for flower.Setup. Lighting

Air flow methodI removed the hood from the home AC to run cold air directly into the grow tent with a 4 inch duct at the bottom. I have an inline fan to push hot air out to balance out the air pressure at the top.
Is this a good idea or should I just have a fan inside with no in or out?Week 4

Question about ventilationI have a 200cm tall tent with a carbon filter connected to an extracter fan/ duct leaving the top corner of my tent.

Are (constantly) high daytime temperatures a huge problem in flower?My day temperature since turing my light up to max during flower are reaching 29-30c | 84.2 - 86f, while the daytime RH is at roughly 40% - 50%.
Is the high temperature something to be concerned about?

Do any body have any experience in making your own carbon filter?Thinking about making one from two steel mesh "ovals" with +-2cm in between. Use some filtration cloth so the carbon don't go through the mesh. And will fill the space between the meshes with activated carbon used for this purpose. Do you think its going to work? ThanksSetup.
