Once your plant has completely brown pistils, health is declining and THC is breaking down into CBD and CBN, two non psychoactive cannabinoids. At this stage, peak THC quality and quantity has passed, which is ok if you prefer sleepy/lazy type of stone, but if you prefer a trippy/mind expanding high, harvest ASAP or in the future, when there are still 5% whitish pistils left. Pistil colour reflects exactly on plant maturity and health, and it is plant health, not trichome colour, that determines cannabinoid chemistry. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

Even though the pistils are brown already, the pictures of the trichomes are still clear, and you want those to milky/cloudy, so if you did harvest right now, it would hurt your yield and it wouldn't be very strong. Give her a few more weeks to mature then she'll be ready.

Viewing pic 3 specifically, YES! Dispensaries always pick at peak potency, or all cloudy, maybe a few amber trichomes. Some growers here prefer the degraded CBN for the more couch lock effect. If I were you I'd pick the nugs that look like pic 3. Let the indica side give you the couch lock, rather than letting her degrade. That's my :text.02. You can let any nugs that dont seem as cloudy sit for another week on the plant.

I'd say once your at 20% to 30% amber trichomes on the bud not the leafs the it would be good to harvest ... Trichomes on the leafs degrade faster so you wanna go by the trichomes on the calyxs
