Hi there, not recommend to defoliate if there isn’t a good reason to do.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many popcorn buds underneath.Other than those, shouldn’t do.Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants.Only recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.Later than those period, you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and let her grow happily until harvest.Happy Growing... ✌️

Hi Mel, You had the right idea with defoliation, what you should do now is wait for the plant to bounce back a bit, so some days at least. Another thing you can do is check the lowest most bud nodes. These wont produce anything more than smokeable larf, so you can remove them with a sharp razor blade , this will help lollipop your plant. bottom most leafs, and bottom most larf. Hope this helps ! 🚀

My tip would be to stop defoliation ASAP. Defoliation only reduces your plants capacity to produce the energy that she needs to grow. Just remember - maximum amount of healthy green leaves = maximum energy production = maximum growth and maximum health. Especially for auto flowering cannabis plants! Hope this helps,..........
