I bought a dustbin with a lid as bought a water pump, tubing, 4mm connectors and 4mm plastic sprayers that are meant to be controllable by screwing a lid. It’s not all 4mm tubing. The flow is so weak and I can’t figure out why. The pump has a big enough flow. What a let down :(

the hoses must not have any bends upwards or downwards. the pump is definitely not strong enough to suck the water up from, for example, 50cm below the drippers... however, if you place the water tank at a height above the drippers in the pots, you will notice that the water tank, even when the pump is off, gets completely drained (suction lift effect) - but this can be prevented with a check valve. Alternative: keep the water level in the tank at about the level of the drippers and use a T-splitter directly at the surface, which is placed approximately at the water surface of the tank, with #1 hose going to the drippers and #2 hose kept very short and letting it drain back into the tank (this will definitely prevent the suction lift effect). Another alternative: buy a pump that actually mechanically closes the pump - this way no water can flow back... I had exactly the same problem and solved it this way.

bummer .... my 5cents ... maybe you have an airlock ... try bleeding the air from the line - open the furthest end and let the liquid flow out freely. then plug it and try again. depending on the scale .. you may need an air relief valve .... also, try rigging it with a manifold without the nozzles and see if it is any better ... then you can just adjust (reduce) the irrigation time good luck

The tube diameter sounds fine, is the pump connected to constant pressure? Or is it a submersible pump? Is there any one way valves in the plumbing? I know with submersible pumps wont pump well if its getting air
