Should I top soon?

This girl is 4 weeks today! She has really turbo’d in the last week. I’m looking to top in the next couple days but a little skeptical as it’s my first grow. Do I top just under the newest growth or at the node underneath this one?

Where ever you can get a clean cut on the stem between the nodes, youve got plenty of growth there id come down abit and leave 3 or 4 healthy sets of leaves, since in the long run everything under your topping will be cut away. Looking great btw.

Recommend topping to the 4th, 5th, or 6th, node. When you top the plants, you are completely removing the upper growth. No new growth will develop from the growth tip that has been cut. This allows the lower lateral growth to assume the dominance. Gl

The initial top is usually done above the 5th node.

Bottom leaves yellowish - why? And can I top?On both of my plants (C99 & S.A.D.) the bottom leaves are turning yellowish and I can't figure out why. Topping techinque: 4 main colasI'm approaching topping for the first time. The aim is to get 4 main colas, without FIM. The intention is to cut at the 3rd node (cut C) in order to develop the branches of nodes 2 and 3 as main ones. Does this make sense? Has anyone already had any experience with this?

Can I clone and mainline that bit I topped?Hi guys, if I top my Amnesia, I mean, literally top them, Like straight cut at the 4th node, maybe? and leave the other 3/4 node above.. May I clone that topped bit? If so, since It should be growing like a normal plant as should be sprouting from the top, may I mainline that?

Light distance and when to top?I'm using a 300W LED. What distance should I keep the lights at now that I've transplanted and the plants are doing well? I'm thinking 24" and then move up as they grow until flipping. Also, when should I top? I've read that waiting for 6-8 nodes is the right way to go.
