Is it time to top? I feel like I need a little bit more stretching first. Maybe even allow another node to develop? When should I top in relation to feeding/watering and lights out?

Wait another week. Top only if your plant looks healthy. If not then you can just LST without topping. Good luck.

Hi there, As you are growing Auto flower,I recommend to do LST rather than topping or fimming.For an auto flower,you shouldn’t top more than one time.They have short life cycle and don’t have so much time to recover.You can get the same result or may be better one by doing LST.So I encourage you to do only LST rather than top or fim.Happy growing... ✌️

Howdy, most folks top at the 3rd or 4th node. There’s no exact way to do it. It’s up to the growers preference. There are many great step by step topping and training videos and websites for greater detail.

3 weeks in. Fan leaves the size of my hand. Topped today. How long until 2nd topping?Directly planted seeds in organic living soil. These plants are vigorously growing, topped today. By the way things are going I believe that the recovery time will be very short.
All organic ingredients. De chlorinated water with vitamin c.

Topping very bushy plants with low node distanceThis plant is very bushy already in this stage, is this normal?
I wanted to top them and ask about the timing, if its right or not, but it's getting hard to count the nodes and take photos , because there is so much in the way.
