Time to Start Flushing

Weedinho
Weedinhostarted grow question 3 years ago
Hey guys, I'm writing because I have one mature plant and I'm doubting if it's a good time to start flushing it. Trichomes are starting to look cloudy, but still many are transparent. Do you think it's time to cut off nutrients ? Thanks and happy growing !

hey there weedinho, i see almost all clear trichomes so i would say you want to wait until it's closer to 80% even 90% before you start flushing. So you probably have a good ten days maybe more before you want to start your plain water no run off flush for another 2 weeks. Hope this helps ! 🚀

I wouldn't cut off the nutrients quite yet and it surely isn't time to start flushing if you do that now you'll hurt your yield. This plant has at least a month to go maybe even more. Harvest when 70-90% of the hairs have darkened for the highest levels of THC, or Harvest when 90-100% of hairs have darkened for a more calming, anti-anxiety effect as some THC turns to the more relaxing CBN. By this time most of the trichomes will be milky/cloudy and the plant will be ready to flush.

Looks like you have at least 3 weeks until you should even consider flushing. Those trichomes are almost completely transparent meaning you have apmost no thc developed yet.

I would wait longer. Each strain is different but I would wait till most are cloudy and some are starting to turn amber.
