Ready to top?

I would wait a week to pinch off the top. I like to leave a few mm of stem above the next node. This prevents two new main stems from splitting later.

Yep, I’d say it’s perfect time to top. Your at about the 5th node by the looks of things and there nice and healthy. Just wait till the very top bud site is big enough to just pluck it out with your fingers is what I do. Just kinda push the top side leaves apart and hold the stem with one hand and grab the little bud with your other finger and thumb and pluck it off. Cheers 💨

Wait until the plant has grown six or seven nodes to do the initial top, which is usually done above the 5th node. It's important to wait until the plant has developed this much so it can withstand the shock of topping.
