To properly water/feed coco you need to watch your runoff ec and ph after every water/feed. Keep it within proper ec and ph range for veg/flower for age range. Feed when nutes lowering, flush when rising. Ph going out of whack, then water with proper ph until you get it where it needs to be. Cheers

Great question. The system that works for my soil girls is; weeks 1-4 from seed - plain water, twice a week. Week 4 1/4 strength of veg nutes; twice a week with a water in between. Week 5 1/2 strength of all nutes; twice a week... waters in between. Week 6 1/2 or full strength of all nutes depending on plant response thus far. Then I carry that dosage all the way until week 6 or 7 of flower. @ week 2 or 3 of flower, I usually remove the veg. nutrients completely from my schedule. So at max, in soil, I'm feeding twice a week. Alright, so here's my take on your situation. Given that you're in coco, there is no naturally available nutrients for the plant to take up in the medium. You'll definitely need to be feeding with each and every watering. However, those remo nutes are quite concentrated. I would start at half strength until you see rigorous growth. Then transition into full strength feeds.

Hi there backchecker, that really depends on what medium you’re using . In soil you should water with plain water twice then once with feed. Usually that takes around 10 days. What I suspect though is that you’re using “potting soil” , which is actually peat moss and not soil. Peat moss is “mined” in wetlands unsustainably , try to avoid using it as much as possible. Basically it retains water more than coco but it is a sterile medium like coco versus soil which is not . You should treat it much like coco if you suspect I’m right about that. Meaning you basically should be feeding at every watering. You might also want to switch from VeloKelp to something like enzymes or humic acid . Hope this helps ! 🚀
