Turn Kief Into Hash

I tried to make hash pressing the kief with a glass bottle full of hot water. At the first step my kief sticked, but then, pressing it over again i aint be able to get a compact solid ball.
So I tried the hair straightener method, but nothing, my kief wont stick. What I mess?

Sounds like you need more heat if you are trying to "press" it. A hair straightener is pretty lame as far as performance but it will work... kinda. If you have a way to measure the temp of the straighter make sure it is reaching a minimum temp of 150°F and make sure not to go over 190°F

When do you know when's good to harvest?
