Does a carbon filter/exhaust fan system count as a fan for my drying tent or do I need to add another fan blowing air under the plants?

Exhaust fan is ideal, no need for any other fan. Also, keep them in the dark, any direct light shining on your harvested flowers will degrade THC quite quickly. Hope this helps,......... Organoman.

I run my vent fan on a low and slow setting. No additional fan in the tent. Still, things like to dry faster than I want so I sometimes put a tray of water in the bottom to slow down the drying, but the fan runs all the time.

Exhaust fan is fine just turn it down super low so its barely creating a draft, ideally you want to be around 70 degrees F with around 60% humidity, might be able to shoot for a little dryer if everything still seems pretty wet after a couple days, but you want it to take 7-10 days to dry to allow the chlorophyll (green stuff) to break down a little so its not so harsh and grassy/minty flavored. Nugs look great though, good luck

You want airflow in the drying tent. You also don't want to dry them to fast. 50% rh is good but don't blow the fan directly on the buds. If you do they will dry faster than you want. Enjoy your harvest!

your goal is to stay under 50 percent of humidity,,,, and the more airflow you have the better... i wont risk thee hard work by letting them mold during curing, ive made atutorial you see it into the diary Organic bnanas in ( outdoor+ tutorials) therre i explained some things about dryingg// curng plants

Hi mate, I've wondered the same thing. It's logical to think so though. as long as air is being changed then where is the problem. I honestly think it is better as you don't havr air blowing directly on them... good luck
