By all means, leave that filtration fan on. It will supply the light air circulation needed to slowly dry out your buds. As well as reducing chance of molding and keeping the smell away.

I just started drying. Should I have trimmed off the small fan leaves before hanging? Does it make a difference?

Tips/advice for first time drying/curing? Did lots of research, looking for anything people overlooked or wish they knew their first time.
I know I dont have the ideal conditions (80f 45rh) for drying, but it’s how its going to be as a humidifier and air conditioner for my grow space isnt in the budget atm. I have mason jars and boveda 62% humidity packs. Any other tips I should know for my first time?

Are my plants ready for harvest
Is this close enough for a flush? I’m crap at telling the ripeness on my plants. Looks like it’s mostly milky-ish with about 10%amber. Most photos were from mid plant.

RH and Temp settings good for tent in bathroom?
I set up a Govee automation in my basement bathroom. My tent is set up with a sensor inside and when it gets down to 58% humidity it turns on a humidifier. Once it gets to 60% it turns off. Should this be good with an inline fan going on low the whole time? Room is 55-60F.

Not complete darkness during drying ok?
I will cut my plants tomorrow, hang them in my room and leave for 2 weeks to travel. How important is complete darkness during drying? The room (45rh, 22degrees) has heavy curtains, but some soft light is shining through, so I’m thinking to nail a blanket to cover the window.

Autoflower: Harvesting in Sections
Hello growers! Some of the lower branches on my ladies are starting to grow into the light and are developing, but the top is close to being ready. I know it’s possible with a regular plant, but is it possible to harvest an auto flowering plant in parts without killing it? Thanks

Obligatory harvest question, good to go, or no?
I was thinking of harvesting, but what do you think? It's a little wispy still, but the trichomes and pistils look ready. Opinions greatly appreciated!

Ready to chop? Ambering trichs on a couple of colas but not on others...
Does the Council of Wise Growers feel ready to call "chop" on my 86 day from germination Purple Chill Auto? Some colas have nice ambering (see close up of trichs) and others not. Sugar leaves haven't started dying. Last time I ran this pheno went 91 days (see diary).

Good Plan for Drying
I am at 2 days and 12 hours of drying I would do my conditions as described in the table. limiting for me will be the temperature below 16.5C so that from day 9 with ~16.5 RH 56 will drive to the end ? Good plan or too complicated ? I have time and want a good result

Once again I must ask, is it ready for harvest?
Pistols are anywhere from 60-80% orange depending on the cola, and the trichomes are mixed, I see some clear, I see milky and I see amber. We're mid week 8 of flower as well. If it's close enough should I ice the pot and start my 2 days of darkness now?

Should I trim/jar now or wait another day or 2?
Today is day 4 of drying and I've unfortunately had my temps around 68 and humidity at around 42%. The buds feel pretty dry/on the verge of crispy but the stems still have some bend. Should I jar tonight or will the moisture even out and wait for that snap? Thanks for any help!
