HPS or LED

Hi I wonder if its worth swap from HPS to LED's. I heard you can get 2g for each watt with leds. When with HPS 0.5 to 1g each watt. And you dont have problems with the heat which im having now I can't lower the temperature I'm on 32/34. Anyone could give me an advice 😊

Hey,
I'm using the MarsHydro LEDs, model TSW2000.
They really don't heat up much, no more problems due to heat. I had to add a heater for the winter.
Yeah, it seems you can get 2g/watt, but it all depends on your knowledge of cannabis growing techniques.
Personally, I recommend LEDs, especially MarsHydro because their prices are very competitive.

23 hours light per day?I’m running 4 autos in a 4x4 tent on 20 hours of light per day. I’m thinking about the possibility of changing the light hours to 23 hours a day and 1 dark hour. LED Kelvin Temp 3000k-6500kIs there a massive difference in colour temperature/kelvin of LED's if the lumens, PAR, watts, intensity and every other aspect you can think of is the same but its temp/kelvin is lower? I use a 6500k LEDs, may mix in or switch to 3000K for better flowers if its proven to work.

This is my first grow, currently in veg wk 5, using 8 x 6500K, 4’ T5HO. Flipping to flower in 2-3 wks, will use 4 x 3000K tubes and planning to get 4 AgroMax Pure Bloom tubes. Is 50/50 mix of 3000K and Pure Bloom a good combination of light?

Slow indoor seedling growth4 days since sprout, issues with light timer, seedlings ended up getting 48 hrs of light after they sprouted, and this AM I found that the timer did not turn the light back on so it got 11 hours of dark last night instead of 6. Could this be detrimental to seedling?
