no! definitely not......!!! topping only after 3 nodes that means let it grow 4 or 5 nodes... then top above the 3rd

I suggest mot topping. Do lst on her when she is big enough.

My plant has gotten taller than the don't go past this line marker and was almost touching my light. I cut the top off by two nodes and am still 10" below the light. The other cola branches are @ 12" below light. I have four other COla branches should I trim them down to canopy?

Topping In Tiny Places I’ve been topping my autos in a 3.8 sf stealth cabinet religiously at the 20ish day. In hydro that is around node 6-7. Would topping earlier giving the speed of growth that hydro provides, say at 3-4 node, make the plant less bushy and easier to manage? Ideas for tiny places?

What is the risk to apply HS training(Topping Defoliation) to the strain for which LST/SCRoG is recommended?I am growing Auto Black Opium(Divine Seeds). The description says SCROG and LST work good. I started bending it recently and did 1 time topping earlier. I feel I need to do some defoliation, but it will be 2nd HS technique, which contradicts the recommendations. Should I?

Topping or LST after 1st topping Last week I topped this little baby, the plant now is growing ok. I noticed that not only the two top side branches are growing a lot, but that the ones on the node under it too. I would like to make the 4 grow and like that I don't have to top more, is it ok? Should I defoliate after topping with LST ?I just did my first topping and she took it very well, no signs of stress and actually growing really fast I think. I was thinking about LST the top colas so the lower ones can reach that height, should I cut the top leaves shadowing the lower future colas?

Are the gals safe to top or are they too stressed?I've heard that you shouldn't top your ladies while there are any deficiencies or issues as it can be extremely stressful.
