no! definitely not......!!!
topping only after 3 nodes that means let it grow 4 or 5 nodes... then top above the 3rd

I suggest mot topping. Do lst on her when she is big enough.

When do you start topping? Photoperiods need to LST? Can ya'll just go look at my diary and tell me if my ladies look like they should LOL.When to top or LST? Do these look stunted? I'm super curious about methods for best yield. I'm already worried my girls are leggy (but I've gotten some great advise already to let them rest but also give them bigger pots soon). Can I clone and mainline that bit I topped?Hi guys, if I top my Amnesia, I mean, literally top them, Like straight cut at the 4th node, maybe? and leave the other 3/4 node above.. May I clone that topped bit? If so, since It should be growing like a normal plant as should be sprouting from the top, may I mainline that?5y ago

Which node is number 1When counting nodes for the first topping, which node is number 1? The cotyledons? First single serrated leaf? 1st 3 fingered leaf? I'm counting pairs of leaves as those are where the nodes are, just not sure which to count as number 1. Personally, i say first 3 fingered leafWeek 2

Conjoined top leaves! 1st node top?Is it possible to top a seedling above the 1st node? Obviously not best practice, but this Phantom OG has a weird conjoined twin leave at the top and not another node. after the first one. The sprout was all good but now top of this one is def not right.6y ago

Autoflower topping?... and if so, when is best?My friend is recommending that I top at the fifth node with the knowledge I'm growing autos.
However, many grower's here discourage it completely for autos.
What's the best practise? I've never topped so this may need spelling out for me.
