Should I start Topping or is it too early?

Hello, when should i start Topping or fiming, now day 21 from seed and day 14 in veg, PGK and Gelat both plants has more than 4 nodes , is it time to start topping or shall i wait another 2 weeks, first time grower and no experience whats so ever, pls correct me guys

As long as the plant has 4-5 nodes, you can top or fim... most growers will do that at this stage if they're growing photos and use those techniques... Go for it! And good luck!

Nope, you're good to top. The rule of thumb seems to be to top the plant in between the 3rd and 5th nodes. No sooner, no later.

It would depend on the strain. If its a strong plant, which it looks like it, could top now. I top my plants as early as day 18 from sprout.

How bushy do you want it? What type of training if any are you planning on using..these factors and more weigh in on the final decision...in general node 5 (unless a serious manifold grower) is a good place to start so you have about a week left before topping imo,..if thats what you chose to do. Show I cut main stem?Should I get rid of the main stem and just grow the surrounding bud sites? The main stem is getting too tall compared to the other stems so thinking I have to do something to help them catch up? Or just cut the main stem entirely? Finished 1st week of 12 12 tonight.

It's still growing and look healthy, but what recovery time should I expect?
Will it be strong enough to continue main-lining?
Should I just release the other branch?
Or wait until it's healed and continue?
