You can top anytime .... I like to wait until it's good and booming before I put heavy stress on them but they are resilient little buggers and always bounce back we topped about 3 weeks in the first time but u can do it as many times as you need to keep you canopy level...

I topped on day 18 from seed. My plant is huge! If you have healthy plant you can top early.

Usually they will wait until the 4th-6th node up before starting training this is because it can stress a small plant alot and could kill her if done too soon but anywhere after the 4th node you should be fine :) Best of luck my friend :)

NL #5 x Haze (70% sativa) height control At what height would you recommend initiating 12/12 to prevent this strain from over-stretching after topping each plant twice to produce four tops? I hope to finish them at 3-4ft. Would I get away starting 12/12 at 9-11 inches?

Topping early at the third node Hi. I have topped two plants above the third node but I don't intend to main-line them. They both had developed four mature nods. Conjoined top leaves! 1st node top?Is it possible to top a seedling above the 1st node? Obviously not best practice, but this Phantom OG has a weird conjoined twin leave at the top and not another node. after the first one. The sprout was all good but now top of this one is def not right.
