No, plain water is best. Chlorine free if you have it, if not, just let a bucket of water stand for 24 hours and all the chlorine will evaporate. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

Any advice appreciated.These 3 seeds (of 12) germinated March 19-21; I transferred them to coco coir/perlite soil under 40W full-spectrum grow lights I also use for garden vegetable seedlings. 3/6 seeds not coming above ground After two weeks of having seen sprouts coming out of all 6 seeds between paper towels, I've only seen 3 come above ground. Should I wait just a bit longer, or carefully clear away the direct and check what's going on? Maybe they're growing upside down (had it once before)?

Overzealous seed!Anyone else ever have a seed sprout inside a paper towel? It was less than 48 hours (I usually check at 24 but was busy) and she had busted out of her shell. For a while now, Ive been using a paper towel and placing them on a running light for warmth and have had amazing results
