Less water needs during flowering is ok, more water is needed during vegetative growth when leaves are forming rapidly, leaves which lose a lot of water through transpiration. True nutrient "lock out" does not occur until the pH is below 5.5 or above 7.5.
Flushing unnecessarily can do more damage than good, mainly destroying soil microbes, which are vital for plant health.
Continue feeding as normal, checking nutrient solution pH and do not do anything drastic during this mid/late stage of flowering, often trying to fix an imagined problem can cause more problems than if you had done nothing at all.
