January 17, 2023 Germination. This is my first time working with genetics other than ILGM. And I feel I have a really good leg up from my previous grows. January 18, 2023 Both ladies sank in their cups of water last night. Now I have them in paper towels until they show a tap root. January 19, 2023 Our ladies have popped and have beautiful tap roots. Coast of Maine Seed Starter Soil in the AC Infinity Germination Center. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 83.9% VPD: 0.47 kPa Monitored with AC Infinity Cloudcom B1 Smart Thermo-Hydrometer. January 20, 2023 Skywalker OG is ready to break surface. She has a nice soil mound coming up. Wedding Glue settled a bit deeper, I think. She's not showing signs of breaking surface yet, but I'm sure she will by the end of the day. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 76° RH: 81.7% VPD: 0.56 kPa January 21, 2023 I have a bit of an issue. My Skywalker OG popped perfect and is already out of the soil. However, Wedding Glue isn't showing signs of breaking the surface yet. This happens a lot to me. One goes and the other doesn't. I have no idea what I'm doing lol. Update: the tap root on the wedding glue broke off somehow, so another one getting popped. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 75.7° RH: 86.7% VPD: 0.40 kPa January 22, 2023 Day 1 Skywalker is doing quite well. She's growing into a nice little seedling. The second Wedding Glue sank to the bottom of the glass and is now in a wet paper towel. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 75.2° RH: 84.6% VPD: 0.46 kPa January 23, 2023 Skywalker OG is looking great! She has excellent color and is growing nice and strong. Wedding Glue germinated and popped her tap root last night. I'm going to leave her in the paper towel for the rest of the day. Don't want another broken tap root. I also have a blueberry auto from ILGM that I harvested today. Unfortunately it has to share the dark tent with the Germination Center. So I have the Center in a big cardboard box at the bottom of the tent and the branches of the Blueberry drying at the top. It seems to be fine. I may end up planting them in their final pots a little earlier than intended. It should be fine though. The grow light is set high enough for seedlings. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 78.4° RH: 79.9% VPD: 0.67 kPa Update: I decided to plant the Wedding Glue. Her tap root was starting to curl in so, in she went. Tap root safe and sound. January 24, 2023 Skywalker is looking great as ever. I've been giving her a spritz of water twice a day. Wedding Glue looks like she has a small mound forming. Hopefully I'm right and she is good to go. I ended up moving the whole Germination Center out of the dry tent and instead on top of it. The temps are just too high with no airflow. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 78° a bit high. RH: 73% VPD: 0.92 kPa January 25, 2023 So this is past a 7 day week. Unless it's based on germination date. Therefore it should be tomorrow. Anyway, wedding glue still hasn't popped. I emailed Fast Buds to see if they have any insight. Skywalker OG, on the other hand, opened up her first finger leaves yesterday afternoon. She's about 2.5" tall now and still strong as ever. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 77.1° RH: 82.4% VPD: 0.57 kPa January 26, 2023 Skywalker OG looks awesome! She is tall and stretching. Wedding Glue finally popped surface last night and is already about an inch tall. So we are now happy. Although, when the hell does this week end? Does it end? Do I have to actively add another week? I'll find out tomorrow I guess. lol. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 79.1% VPD: 0.59 kPa January 27, 2023 Skywalker needs to be planted in her final pot today. Her first finger leaves are getting wider and her roots have hit the bottom of the seedling tray... Planting success! Grow light distance is about 26" with an estimated 185 par. BTW, these AC Infinity 3 gallon fabric pots are really nice. About 2 inches taller than the other 3 gallon fabric pots. Wedding Glue looks great! Opening up nicely and looks really strong. I can't wait to see how she grows. I had to order soil because I ran out. Lol. It won't be here for a week, so hopefully wedding Glue won't need planting before then. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 74.1° RH: 80% VPD: 0.56 kPa Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 50.6% VPD: 1.42 kPa January 28, 2023 Neither of the ladies are in veg yet, so I'm going to keep the germination week until the first set of true leaves appear on Skywalker. Then I will start Veg. Skywalker OG looks great! She is taking well to her final pot. No issues I can see. Wedding Glue is now growing wonderfully. She will be moved to her final pot in a couple of days. I got updated shipping time for my soil. Tomorrow instead of the 3rd. Happy day for me. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74° RH: 54.2% VPD: 1.30 kPa Germination Center Environment: Temp: 79.6° RH: 80.8% VPD: 0.68 kPa January 29, 2023 So I'm seeing the first of my tribulations. Skywalker has puckering leaves. So I raised the light 2 inches to see if that fixes it. I had a feeling the light was too low for seedlings. I may have to raise it a bit more. We shall see. Wedding Glue is starting a nice stretch. She's looking good so far. Good colors, strong stem. She's going in her final pot tomorrow I think. Once I get the light in the right position, that is. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 73.3° RH: 66% VPD: 0.94 kPa Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 53.1% VPD: 1.36 kPa Update: I decided to plant Wedding Glue early. I'd rather her grow into the soil vs having root exposed right away. January 30, 2023 I'll be finally starting the first veg week tomorrow. No clue why it's taking so long. Everything looks good today. I raised the grow light to over 30 inches for them. It seems to be much better. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 54.1% VPD: 1.30 kPa

January 31, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 10 Wedding Glue Day 3 This week is the start of the vegetation stage. However, I feel like both of these ladies should be at least early veg. But nope. I pop probably did something wrong. Whoops. Seriously though, Skywalker broke surface 10 days ago. She is still very much a seedling. Just started showing first true leaves. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 52.4% VPD: 1.34 kPa February 1, 2023 So the ladies are still in the tent, but there were environmental issues. The temp in the tent runs a bit warm, around 77°. The major issue is RH. It ranges around 47% to 53%. Much too low for seedlings. The light is also a bit of an issue. With the other plants in there that are flowering, I need the light closer to them, but they aren't all that tall, so managing the distance is a bit of a challenge. However, I found that the humidity dome blocks a bit of the light from getting in. Now I can adjust everything so the flowering white widows I have can get the right light intensity and environment. Yay! I'm also using the bottom feeding system under those white widows for height. I can now fix that too. Skywalker still has puckering leaves. Maybe it's just the phenome. She still looks great. Coming along nicely. Wedding Glue is a pretty little thing. She's still very much just getting into the seedling stage. Good coloring and her first single leaves are coming in. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 60% VPD: 1.16 kPa February 2, 2023 Not much going on today. Both ladies are under the dome and enjoying life. So I'm starting to feel that my planting method causes problems. It's a transplant, but I try to avoid exposing roots before I do it. I usually use jiffy pucks. This time I actually used the stuff I bought for seedlings. Haha. Maybe I should start seeds directly in their final pot. Put seed starter soil in the middle and grow into the rest of the container. If anyone gets this far reading, I'd love to see what all of your methods are. Especially if you're running autoflowers. I also decided to start the bottom wicking systems. I've only added 1 liter of water to each reservoir with 3ml of FishSh!t. It should get to the roots of the ladies when they are a bit older. The wicking system takes a while to actually start working. Which is perfect if you want a gradual introduction into the nutrients etc. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 74.9° RH: 61.2% VPD: 1.15 kPa February 3, 2023 Skywalker is looking great! Her leaves are beautiful. Starting on her second node today. She should shoot right up in the next few days. I think I'm going to remove the dome when she's done with this node. Wedding Glue is doing fine as well. Still very much a seedling. I also finally got my Diatomaceous Earth, so I sprinkled it on each pot. I was getting a fly infestation. No longer an issue. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 61.2% VPD: 1.05 kPa February 4, 2023 Both ladies are doing well as always. Skywalker is almost ready to get out of the dome. Wedding Glue has a little ways to go. I'm slowly adding water to the soil as they get older. I'm also getting ready to prime Skywalker's container for bottom wick feeding. Basically let the pot sit in water until the water is gone and the bottom of the pot is mostly saturated. Germination Center Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 62.7% VPD: 0.89 kPa February 5, 2023 Today I removed the dome from Skywalker. She no longer needs it. However, Wedding Glue still needs more time under there. I have it all arranged nicely. Skywalker has a nice 220 ppfd at 30" light distance. Once she gets a little bigger I'll put her back on the feeding system. Should be a nice 500 ppfd then. Wedding Glue is happily running around 160 ppfd with a paper towel hoping to block some of the grow light. I am using the light bars on the dome to keep an even spread for her. Grow System Environment: Skywalker Temp: 74.5° RH: 50.2% VPD: 1.44 kPa February 6, 2023 Today we aren't looking at much. Gave a little water to both ladies and I started priming their containers for wick feeding. Unfortunately, I am using the risers to keep a couple other flowering plants closer to the light. I'll give it a day or 2 just to get the containers to level out a bit. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 52.6% VPD: 1.40 kPa Germination Center Environment: Temp: 76° RH: 62% VPD: 1.16 kPa

February 7, 2023 Day 17 Skywalker OG Day 10 Wedding Glue Skywalker is doing quite well. She's on her way to vigorous growth and happy as ever. She is about 3" tall now. Wedding Glue is starting to take off as well. As she is a seedling still, she's only about 1.5" tall. Had a low humidity issue for the last 2 days. It's fixed now. Both ladies are now set up with their wick feeding systems. Their reservoirs are filled and I'm running 3 ml/gal of Fish Sh!t. They aren't big enough for their roots to reach that far down, but the bottom feed will slowly bring the moisture up. At least that's what I've been experiencing. I'm still adding a bit of water to the top each day just to keep the soil moisture even for their size. Grow System Environment: Skywalker OG Temp: 74.6° RH: 51.7% VPD: 1.40 kPa Germination Center Environment: Wedding Glue Temp: 73.9° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa February 8, 2023 Skywalker OG looks fantastic. She's definitely starting to take off. Wedding Glue just started on her first set of finger leaves. She will be out of the dome in no time. Maybe a day or 2. In other news, the wicking systems are working perfectly. Nice and slow draw. The grow light was up a bit too high now that Skywalker is in full veg. So I dropped it to about 24". The light meter app thing I have measured around 250 ppfd. From what I understand, vegging autoflowers like around 500 ppfd. I figure both will grow into the right height and of course I will raise the light accordingly. I really want some 3ft plants. I feel like they will be easier to work with compared to the compact ones I have been growing. Too much foliage in such a tight space. So hopefully I get some good stretch out of these ladies. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.30 kPa Germination Center Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 59.2% VPD: 1.16 kPa February 9, 2023 Skywalker is taking off. She looks like she will be nice sized. Wedding Glue came out of her dome today. She is on her first set of finger leaves. So, back to lighting. Had to calibrate. App works perfectly now. Light up to 36". Intensity is 450 ppfd. Will continue to make adjustments as I go. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 54.7% VPD: 1.30 kPa February 10, 2023 Today our ladies are enjoying life and happy as can be. So far they are both doing quite well with the light height. A slight bit of praying which in my book is great! Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 57.2% humid day VPD: 1.25 kPa February 11, 2023 Today the ladies are showing great signs of growth and are being pretty speedy about it now. Skywalker is especially getting geared up. Kinda wish she was bigger by now, but I'm sure it will be fine. Wedding Glue is nearly close to full veg. In the next couple days, I expect her to be on hyper mode. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.29 kPa February 12, 2023 Skywalker, as predicted, is starting to noticably take off. Not just in height, but just general growth all around. Wedding Glue just entered her vegetative stage. She looks like she is ready to take off as well. Calibrated Photone App: Light Height 36" DLI: Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 54.8% VPD: 1.28 kPa February 13, 2023 Today we are just hanging out. Everyone is happy and healthy. I ended up changing some things around. The light intensity is now at 70% and the light is higher up. According to Photone, week 3 autoflowers should have a 20 DLI. So that's what I went for. It's around 320 ppfd. I also realized that not only was my light too intense, but it was also too low for optimal area coverage. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 54.3% VPD: 1.23 kPa

Best to get a light meter. Photone or tentbuddy. Not sure what works on what phone but look into a meter for sure . Tentbuddy gives u outlines for veg and flower along with a VPD Calculator. It's hard to just say "lift it 24in above" the light meter will get u in the best range.

February 14, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 24 Wedding Glue Day 17 This week will be focused on DLI as our ladies grow and stretch. As it stands Skywalker OG is 6" tall. Wedding Glue is 2.5" tall. As was was discussed last week. DLI is the most important part of my grow environment. Temp and humidity are right where I want them. The light seems to be perfect for now, but I will most likely have to make adjustments. Currently Skywalker OG is running around 450 ppfd. She has a 20 DLI. Perfect for her stage of growth. Wedding Glue has a 14 DLI. I'm looking forward to learning more about lighting and the science behind it. This is really helpful. Currently the light is set to 70% power and has a great footprint. As I said before, height is 38" but I'm finding that to be inconsequential. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.16 kPa February 15, 2023 I moved all of my plants around in the tent last night. 2 flowering white widows on the right front and back. Skywalker OG in the back left side and wedding glue in the front left side. I believe this arrangement gives the best access to light for all ladies. At least better than small up front and big in the back. It's also easier to pull out my flowering ladies. Today's light measurements: Skywalker OG 20.9 DLI Wedding Glue 16.4 DLI Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.20 kPa February 16, 2023 Today is a day of rest. Both ladies are watered, in the right lighting. And have great air flow. DLI hasn't changed enough to note. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.19 February 17, 2023 The ladies are picking up the pace rather quickly. Wedding Glue really boosted growth over night. Skywalker OG looks great! She grew a little over an inch last night. The wicking systems are working perfectly. Now it's a matter of keeping the reservoirs full and clean. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.6° RH: 54.5% VPD: 1.18 kPa Lighting up to 22.3 DLI for Skywalker OG. Lighting for Wedding Glue no change. February 18, 2023 Today our ladies are looking great as usual. Not much else to report. They got their reservoirs refilled. Nothing else. Lol Negligible change in DLI for either plant. The 70% light power is helping keep the temp down, but a little too low. The humidity is a little high for the 2 flowering ladies I have, but great for these plants. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.3° RH: 54.7% VPD: 1.16 kPa February 19, 2023 Skywalker OG looks absolutely amazing! Great growth rate, great coloring and sturdy. Nice auxiliary branches as well. Wedding Glue is also looking great! She will be amazing when she gets going. Light Intensity: Skywalker OG: 24.5 DLI Wedding Glue: 19.2 DLI Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.5° RH: 54.8% VPD: 1.17 kPa February 20, 2023 This has been an exciting week. Both ladies have grown so well. Wedding Glue is definitely going to be bushy. I'm not sure how Skywalker will turn out. She's pretty well spread out for now. This is my first time growing 2 different strains together. So it's very interesting how each plant has their own unique shape and size. Anyway, I cannot wait for what next week brings. Wedding Glue is having a wonderful time. She is definitely growing outward instead of upward. Great color and shape! Looks sturdy. Skywalker OG is already showing her sex. I expect her to start pre-flower in a week? Technically as a 9 to 10 week strain, I would guess there are 3 to 4 weeks of veg and 6 to 7 weeks of flower. Pre-flower would be mixed somewhere between 4 and 5? Final stretch should be on week 6. That gives her almost 2 full weeks of the final stretch. Wedding Glue is roughly the same. So I hope to expect some new bud in 6 to 7 weeks. DLI: Skywalker OG: 24.9 Wedding Glue: 19.7 Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 54.7% VPD: 1.22 kPa

February 21, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day 31 Height: 13" DLI: 25.9 Wedding Glue: Day 24 Height: 4" DLI: 19.9 This week we have 2 very different plants. Skywalker OG is growing really tall. She is 3 times taller than Wedding Glue. However, Wedding Glue is growing quite broad and her internodal spacing is pretty short. She has 5 nodes while Skywalker OG has 6 and is well spaced out for better air flow. On the other hand, there is a 5 day difference between them and a lot of growth happens around now for day 26. Maybe Wedding Glue will catch up in a few days. Watering these ladies is perfect. The wicking system is super efficient. Skywalker OG already has some air pruning to do. Moisture levels are hovering just around 54%. They are starting to take in more water daily. Skywalker is around 750 ml while Wedding is around 350ml. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 55.1% VPD: 1.21 kPa February 22, 2023 Today is another day of watching and observing. For instance, Wedding Glue is supposed to get kinda tall. Mine is extremely short, but really wide. That being said, I'm using a mix of 50/50 Ocean Forest and Happy Frog. I've never used it before, but from what I understand, I need to add nutrients. So all I really have is advanced and lotus. I decided on advanced nutrients. Mine is the PH perfect micro grow bloom. Because she is an autoflower and in soil that is known to be a bit hot, I am using quarter strength for now. On the other hand, Skywalker OG is quite the opposite. She has been growing vigorously in Sohum Living Soil. She grew about 1.5" over the last 16 hours. So far she doesn't seem to need any grow nutrients. I think I will try lotus nutrients in one of my new ladies. I also use tiger bloom. Maybe I'll try the lotus nutrients as well and leave the tiger bloom out of it. Other than that, I'm not seeing any problems with these ladies whatsoever. Water uptake is still pretty slow. I'd say about 500 ml a day so far. But this wick system is really efficient. Kinda like my Puffco Peak Pro. Just sayin. Lol never waste concentrate. Skywalker is taking in a bit more water now that I think of it. Maybe 750ml a day. Light intensity: Skywalker DLI: 28.5 Wedding Glue DLI: 20.2 Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.2° RH: 55.3% VPD: 1.18 kPa February 23, 2023 Today I recalibrated my Photone App. Much better reading. Skywalker OG: Looks great! Growing super fast everywhere. She looks like she may get a bit bushy as well. DLI: 39.0 Wedding Glue: Why is she still so short? She should have started at least a bit of stretch by now. Maybe she will be a little later and will spike right up. DLI: 22.3 Grow System Environment: Temp: 70.8° RH: 52.3% VPD: 1.20 kPa February 24, 2023 Skywalker OG is fantastic! She is stretching like mad now. I can't wait to see when she is done with her stretch. DLI: 41.5 Wedding Glue is still REALLY short. Like 5" tall. I really hope she grows up very soon. She is pretty wide though. At least as wide as she should be, but she missed the whole stretching memo. I don't get it. DLI: 21.2 Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.2° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.24 kPa February 25, 2023 Skywalker is growing so fast. Another inch and a half last night. She has a wonderful structure and great coloring. No training on this one. Maybe some light defoliation. However, Wedding Glue is really confusing me. She still hasn't stretched at all. I think I'm going to blame my lack of knowledge on the soil I'm using. I've only ever used living soil. This has to be the issue. But I don't know. No DLI today. I'll record it on the beginning of next week. I forgot to mention that Skywalker OG just started to flower. Massive pistils so far and big bud development. I can't wait to see what she looks like in a couple weeks. Wedding Glue has not started flowering yet. Weird. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.2° RH: 51.7% VPD: 1.28 kPa February 26, 2023 Today we have a bit of movement from Wedding Glue. Not much, but some. She grew a half inch last night. Maybe she will start to pick up speed in the coming days. Skywalker OG as before is stretching like mad. She has 8 nodes now and looks like more coming along. She is starting to fill out a bit as well. I'm very happy with her. I'm not completely happy with the Wedding Glue thus far. Granted, she is beautiful and lush, but the height is a bit of an issue for me. She's building up moisture between her leaves and I definitely cannot cut them out. Not yet at least. DLI: Skywalker OG: 42.6 Wedding Glue: 24.7 Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.9° (daily average) RH: 55% VPD: 1.18 kPa February 27, 2023 Skywalker OG for the win! She's stretching and growing. Beautiful color, lush, tall and filling out. She already has a distinct smell along her stems. She is also just in the flowering stage. Wedding Glue is getting really bushy. She isn't stretching yet, but hopefully in the next few days. She isn't in pre-flower yet, so I expect a good stretch very soon. She is lush and beautiful. She just needs to get some vertical growth. Why is my Wedding Glue Auto so short? She's healthy as can be. The issue here is that she is in day 30 with zero signs of upward growth and only 5.5" tall. Can I fix this somehow? Huge leaves though. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Look at the diary to see.

She is growing slowly.. But, I can see she's only around pushing up her 5 or so set of nodes. She will get bigger. She's just slow going atm.. had the same thing with my lemon pie and took her ages to flip. She'll put on most of her height during pre flower. Idk her traits but she looks mainly indica with her big fat leafs. Indicas grow much lower and have more girt. Sativas grow higher that have less girt. But, sometimes plants especially autos are unpredictable. Wouldnt worry about it to much. Good growing

February 28, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 38 Height: 25" DLI: 42 Wedding Glue Day 31 Height: 7" DLI: 25 So far this week, the focus will be on Wedding Glue. Her height is still a bit of a concern. However, she hasn't started flowering yet so maybe. Also, with no pre flower means more opportunity to grow. She is still super healthy though. Lush, green and sturdy. Skywalker OG is also looking fantastic! She nearly doubled in size last week. She's almost in full swing flower. Another day or two. She's filling out and has beautiful big fan leaves. The top cola looks like it's setting up to be massive. Still not doing any training unless I have to. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.8° RH: 53.9% VPD: 1.20 kPa March 1, 2023 I had to make some light height changes and had to put the Wedding Glue on a box to keep the DLI on point. Skywalker OG was starting to push her top away from the light. Fixed immediately. So today I'm looking at a beautiful flowering Skywalker OG. She is still stretching, but starting to slow down a bit. Wedding Glue is still short. But after discussing her with the FastBuds Team, we decided she has to be an indica-dominant phenotype. She hasn't stretched at all, but the side branches are all pushing up to the top of the canopy. So she may level her own canopy without any training. I will definitely have to defoliate. She also just started showing her sex. So I expect some sort of stretch to start any day. Let's hope for a successful stretch. Light Intensity: Skywalker OG: DLI: 48 Wedding Glue: DLI: 26 Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.2° RH: 55.8% VPD: 1.17 kPa March 2, 2023 Skywalker OG is still stretching. She looks great! I accidentally snapped a large fan leaf off today. Oops. Wedding Glue grew about an inch last night. Still super short, but starting to grow. The nice part is that almost all of the branches are at the top of the canopy. Light Intensity: Skywalker OG: DLI 48 Wedding Glue: DLI 26 Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.21 kPa March 3, 2023 Today, we are looking at more stretch from Skywalker. She is also getting really thirsty. Taking in an easy liter a day. Wedding Glue is still short, but green as can be. She isn't drinking much yet. But she is still in veg mode. She did however start showing her sex a tiny bit. Based on the answers from my stretching issue, the main focus was light height. The only problem with that is the light is already far enough away with a DLI of 25. Perfect for her age and should help her stretch. So thank you all for helping out. I do have a couple of comments for those of you who are curious. Skywalker OG is a 75% Indica. So the answer I chose was the most sensible one. Less is more. I figure if my setup is completely dialed in, then the plant is just a bit slower than Skywalker. Per the advice, I'll leave her alone and let her do her thing. After speaking with FastBuds, the only training I am going to do is mild defoliation. I'll probably only clip the main fan leaves. They cover the most canopy. Light Intensity: Skywalker OG: DLI: 48 Wedding Glue: DLI: 25 Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 55.2% VPD: 1.22 kPa Update: I decided since Skywalker OG is in full flower now, to defoliate the main fan leaves and 2 branches off the lowest node. I stuck them in root riot plugs and put them in the gemination system to see if they clone. Haha. It most likely won't work, but why not give it a shot? Maybe I'll get a tiny little cola that would have otherwise been larf. March 4, 2023 Both ladies are looking great! Wedding Glue is starting to grow up a bit more. She is certainly lush and full, but not quite in the pre-flower stage. Just barely. Skywalker OG is looking great! Her bud production is fantastic and her stretch apparently isn't complete yet. I'll be starting her on Tiger Bloom in 2 days. Her DLI is pretty high though. However, the majority of the plant is around 45, but the top is closer to 65. Not sure what to do about that, I can lower the intensity down to 60% or raise the light higher. I'll see how she's looking in a couple of days. Maybe it's perfectly fine. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.6° RH: 55.3% VPD: 1.15 kPa Update: Skywalker OG got a full defoliation today. She is just ending her stretch and I really wanted to get rid of a bunch of problem leaves. Wedding Glue is showing more of her sex and pistils are starting to get longer at the base of the top branches. Currently, she has a total of 8 nodes with a top. The branches are almost all level with the canopy. Taking out the main fan leaves should do the trick and open up the canopy nicely. Maybe tomorrow for that. I'll see how she grows during her rest period. March 5, 2023 Skywalker OG took to her defoliation perfectly. All done. I took off the 2 lowest bud sites today as well. Everything looks great with her. Wedding Glue is so bushy and squat. So she got a light defoliation today. Just the main fan leaves and 2 that were touching the container rim. Also took off the lowest node. Still not much room to get in there, but the branches are all exposed now. Now, about these clones. They are seriously still alive and standing up. I have some nursery pots I can use with them to see what happens. Highly entertaining. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 54.5% VPD: 1.22 kPa March 6, 2023 Took a couple more leaves off of Skywalker OG today. Just the ones directly covering bud sites. She's doing fantastic! Thirsty, happy and really nice bud formations. So Wedding Glue filled right back in overnight from her defoliation. I had to take a couple more leaves off of her today. There was moisture getting trapped between them. No big deal. She recoverd super fast last night, so I'm definitely not worried. She also has a perfect naturally level canopy. The branches are even pointing out to the sides. She has also filled up the zone she is in. Now she just needs to grow up. Stretch hasn't really started yet, but I'm pretty sure this was the perfect time to defoliate. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 54.9% VPD: 1.21 kPa

After much research, I couldn't find anything on how to properly handle a really short plant. Does anyone have a thought about this? Or how to induce extra stretch? This is for documentation and research for this particular grow situation. Please see week 5 entries. Thanks all!

Just don’t. Not with your set up. It will stretch upon initiation of flower. It’s an auto, those ruderalis genetics are like that

March 7, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 45 Height: 34.5" DLI: 45 (below top) Wedding Glue Day 38 Height: 9.5" DLI: 25 Going into week 6, I expect to see massive bud production from Skywalker OG. She looks great and has a ton of bud sites and is stacking beautifully. She has also started her Bloom nutrients. I use Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. Wedding Glue should be stretching this week as well. She will certainly fill out even more and I'll definitely have to defoliate one more time. Everything looks great on her. Beautiful lush green and great form. Definitely will be super bushy. Then there is that clone I made from Skywalker OG. It rooted and seems super healthy. I planted her in a 1/4 gallon nursery bag with the 50/50 Fox Farm mix. So she is planted and living in the tent now. I'm going to die if I get a nice cola out of this. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 55.3% VPD: 1.19 kPa March 8, 2023 Not much going on today. Skywalker OG has some great internodal spacing. Looking great! Wedding Glue got a few more leaf snips. Opened the canopy right up again. Clone... Nope! She gone! I was mistaken. No rooting. Oh well. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.9° RH: 55.1% VPD: 1.17 kPa March 9, 2023 Lots of filling in last night from Skywalker OG. I had to take a few leaves off that were directly covering bud sites. Nothing crazy though. Her buds are really well formed and growing rapidly. Wedding Glue hasn't stretched yet, but she is definitely looking about ready to. She is getting wider and I can only hope that she will shoot up during her stretch. She will be massive. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 54.6% VPD: 1.22 kPa March 10, 2023 Skywalker OG is stacking! The smell is still weak, but it smells great! Her buds are filling in quite nicely. I snipped 4 leaves that were becoming a problem for lower bud sites. Wedding Glue is looking great! Still slow growing, but robust. Branches are becoming nice and strong. She will definitely be able to hold a good amount of bud on them. She still has a bunch of huge fan leaves, but they seem to be helping her with developing a natural level canopy. She is starting to get a distinct smell from her branches and stems. Nothing super strong but a nice smell either way. Grow System Environment: kinda messy today. Temp: 71.8° RH: 55.9% VPD: 1.14 kPa March 11, 2023 Unfortunately I have run out of FishShit so I dropped it down to 1 ml per gallon for the rest of the week. Hopefully I can get more ASAP. Wedding Glue had a bump in her nutrient uptake from 1 ml to 2 ml for the week. Speaking of uptake, they have both gotten really thirsty in the past day. Both reservoirs were bone dry this morning. I have to keep a closer eye on the water levels. Finally, Wedding Glue is growing upward. Or at least starting to. Her branches are all reaching up now and most have broken through the canopy. I'll do another light defoliation when she really gets into the stretch. Just the biggest fan leaves. Maybe 10 total? Skywalker OG looks great! Trichomes are starting to develop all over the smaller fan leaves. Pistils are massive and stacking is getting impressive already. Most branches have some pretty good internodal spacing, especially through the top 8 inches or so, maybe 10? Either way, I hope to see some big and long colas for this lady. She also hasn't stopped growing either. Grow System Environment: Temp: 70.9° RH: 56.2% VPD: 1.10 kPa March 12, 2023 Skywalker OG looks great! She's building those buds so nicely and she is starting to get a beautiful pungent scent. So far just gassy. Wedding Glue is getting bigger and bigger. I believe she just started pre-flower today. Hopefully the stretch will be here soon. Grow System Environment: Snowing Outside Temp: 71.4° RH: 54.4% VPD: 1.17 kPa March 13, 2023 Final day of week 6. Wedding Glue will get a defoliation at some point in the following week. She still hasn't started stretching, but she looks like she is getting ready to. Skywalker OG looks great as ever. She is definitely too close to the light at the top, but the rest of the canopy is comfortable at a DLI of 45. The top is around 68. Much too high. She looks great! Pistils are getting bigger and more abundant. Even on the lower bud sites, the pistils are huge and numerous. Great end to the week. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.4° RH: 54.8% VPD: 1.20

March 14, 2023 Wedding Glue: Day 45 Height: 11.5" DLI: 22 Skywalker OG: Day 52 Height: 37" DLI: 60 This week will focus mostly on Wedding Glue. She is just starting pre-flower and will need all the attention she can get without defoliation. She's starting to stretch as well, but not too much. Hopefully we will see a major change this week. Skywalker OG looks great! Bud production is fantastic. A little bit of light stress, but nothing to really worry about. Even the lowest bud sites are looking nice and full of pistils. Long fat ones at that. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 56% VPD: 1.17 kPa March 15, 2023 Our ladies are looking great! Wedding Glue is getting bushier and getting ready for that stretch... I hope. She still has that natural flat canopy. The main top is starting to get a tiny bit taller, but her side branches aren't far behind and more are starting to break through the canopy. She also emptied the reservoir last night so she got a fill-up today. She was supposed to get 3 ml per gallon of nutrients, but I forgot and did 2 ml accidentally. Oh well, I'll just bump it up next watering. Her structure looks great with lush foliage and massive fan leaves to suck up all that light. Skywalker OG is also looking great! Her leaves have been filling out a bit now. I had to snip a couple of them that were over shadowing bud sites again. Bud production looks great! Trichome production is fantastic! (See pics). Starting to cover everything. Still so much time for much much more. Even the lower buds sites are looking good. Abundant big pistils and lots of trichomes as well. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.9° RH: 55.9% VPD: 1.19 kPa March 16, 2023 Wedding Glue has finally started to stretch. She grew about an inch last night. I can only expect her to continue growing at a more rapid pace. Skywalker OG isn't bushy, but has enough foliage to overshadow a decent amount of the bottom canopy. Should I trim? I'll most likely leave it alone. Everything else looks fanfuckingtastic! Stacking is beautiful, trichomes are literally everywhere. A couple leaves are already starting to take on a white appearance from all the frost. This lady is certainly going to impress. Let's hope for a bountiful harvest. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 55.4% VPD: 1.23 kPa March 17, 2023 Skywalker OG looks great! She is building buds like mad. Very happy and still more and more trichomes. She is starting to get strong to the nose and it's wonderful. Stacking is still going strong. She looks wonderful and has such potential. Wedding Glue is also looking great. She's speeding that stretch up and hopefully, at the very least, doubles in size. I have my trellis net ready at 24" over the soil, just in case. Per everyone's answers to my defoliation question, I'll be leaving her alone until she finishes her stretch, unless she opens up. She is super lush and full. Coloring is great! Can't wait to see what she ends up like. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 56.1% VPD: 1.25 kPa March 18, 2023 Ladies looking great! So much more frost on Skywalker OG. Buds are rapidly bulking and growing. Wedding Glue looks great as well! Her leaves are huge and lush. She's pushing up nicely with all her branches. The top is still a bit higher than the rest, but not too much. Very excited to see what she ends up looking like. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.29 kPa March 19, 2023 Skywalker OG is coming along so very nicely. Her buds are stacking so much and she is getting more and more frosty. She is also giving off a much stronger scent. I can imagine it will only get stronger over the next 3 weeks. Wedding Glue is finally taking off. She is super full and lush. Her stretch is picking up speed and she is getting thirsty. I ended up top feeding both ladies today. They were both feeling light and the bottom feed system is still going full force. I think maybe a weekly top feeding for the rest of the grow is in order. We shall see what happens. They only got a half gallon on the top. Maybe they will need more. I'll check them later this evening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 53.3% VPD: 1.28 kPa March 20, 2023 Both ladies are looking wonderful! Wedding Glue is filling in more and is stretching at a steady pace. Skywalker OG is STACKING! Bud production looks amazing. Still tons of fat buds. However, I feel like she is getting light burn at her very top. I'm not seeing bleaching, just some brown spotting on the top leaves. I'm sure it's fine. Not to mention the other 3 plants in there need the light where it's at. I suppose I could lift Wedding Glue up a few inches to compensate. I'm going to give a few more days on it to see what happens. Although, I feel like my 240 watt light at 70% power should be perfectly fine. It's not THAT powerful. On another note, I definitely need to keep an eye on my watering system. The cotton wick got loaded with too many solids and couldn't wick anymore. So I replaced both wicks and ended up watering from the top down until it started dripping. I'm going to have to do this for a week I think so the feed system catches back up. They were definitely low but I think I caught it at the perfect time. Now to keep an eye for the day to see if I over watered them which I doubt. They were both still really light this morning. I'd say leave her be my guy. You need those leaves for photosynthesis. To make those nice beautiful flowers! Besides she doesn't really have an abundance of leaves from what I can see. I hope this helps.

March 21, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day 59 DLI: 45 at canopy Height: 37.5" Wedding Glue: Day 52 DLI: 30 Height: 13.5" This week will focus more on watering and making adjustments for Wedding Glue as she moves into flower. Skywalker OG is doing wonderfully. Her buds are really starting to swell. I'm excited to see the end result. She is steadily working her top watering and the reservoir. She also got an increase in her nutrients. Fish Shit is back at 3ml and I've increased tiger bloom up to 7ml. Wedding Glue is 13.5" tall, but super full and lush. Her pre-flower time is almost at an end. And she is taking in massive amounts of water. Even after top feeding yesterday, she also dried out the reservoir overnight. Another refill. She's definitely thirsty and still leveling out her soil moisture. She got a nutrient increase today as well. Now she's getting 4ml of each micro, grow and bloom advanced nutrients as well as 3ml of Fish Shit Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 54.6% VPD: 1.25 kPa March 22, 2023 Today is rather exciting. First, Skywalker OG not only cleared out the reservoir overnight, she also put on some noticable weight. I had to fill the reservoir back up and top feed a bit more. However, I'm seeing no signs of under or over watering. So there's that. Honestly, kinda confused with that. Wedding Glue grew an inch last night. I also looked through the canopy and realized the abundance of bud sites that are still hidden by the massive fan leaves. When she finishes her stretch, she's definitely getting defoliated. She also got a bit more top feed today. Just a few hundred ml. The middle of the soil is pretty crunchy and dry. It should be fine now. No signs of over or under watering. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 55% VPD: 1.24 kPa March 23, 2023 Still dialing in their watering. Wedding Glue was the empty one today. She already started feeling light so she got a top feed about half gallon, and a reservoir refill. She also hasn't stretched much at all. However, she is getting wider with tons of bud sites ready to be exposed to the light. I won't be defoliating until next week, just to be sure she has actually finished her stretch. She is really full and lush. Definitely a bit too full. I'll be checking her water levels periodically today. Skywalker OG has a half full reservoir but seems to be enjoying the wet soil for now. Her buds are noticably fattening up day to day. She still has plenty of time to bulk up and it's not even at that critical fattening stage yet. The lowest buds are also thick, glistening with trichomes and look great in their own right. Hopefully they end up being good smoke. Side note: I learned the other day that living soil needs constant moisture to work to its fullest. Living microbes slow production during dry periods. Keeping a constant even moisture level is the best method. In that case, I would assume a drip system or, in my case, bottom feed with a weekly top feed would work best. Or at least keeping the moisture level around 45% maybe 55%... Somewhere around there. I also learned that flushing living soil is basically pointless, so there's that as well. I think my issue was not starting the soil at the ideal level and working the soil with the seedlings. I think I just missed getting the whole pot at the right level for the bottom feed system to actually work from the start. Anyway, if anyone is reading this, leave a comment with your thoughts. I'd love to hear opinions and theories on the concept. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 57.5% VPD: 1.22 kPa March 24, 2023 So I had to ask the question today about finally defoliating Wedding Glue. She hasn't stretched in a couple days and stopped at 14.5" maybe she's just super squat. Anyway, I haven't defoliated yet and am worried if it's still too early. I don't think so though. She seems to be in full swing flower. There are a ton of covered bud sites and she is way too bushy. Anyway... Wedding Glue is doing great! Still very lush and great colors. Lots of pistil production. She's definitely in full flower now. So I had to raise her up closer to the light. She is now at a perfect DLI of 45. Exactly the recommended intensity. The soil moisture level finally leveled out to around 50%. She will most likely get another top feeding next week. Now it will be easier to keep up with. Skywalker OG is fantastic! Her buds are getting much bigger and trichome production is looking great as well. Very nice cone shapes. And very uniform. She has also leveled out her moisture content. Light penetration is super deep. Air flow is excellent. She seems to have a slight bit of light burn? Just on the very top top, but it could be a naturally occurring color change. Not worried. Excellent aroma. Strong. Unfortunately it's starting to get a bit humid here now that spring is here. I ended up buying a tiny dehumidifier for the tent and a bigger one for outside the tent. Hopefully it will keep everything where it needs to be for the summer without overheating the tent. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 56.8% VPD: 1.18 Update: the answer was easy enough. She was too bushy and is now defoliated. I'm not sure, but I think I may have pulled too much. Or not? They were all big leaves with purple stems. Air flow is opened up and bud sites are also visible. There are still quite a few sites left, but I didn't want to take too much. She definitely felt it. She's dropping now. Lots of stress. 🤔🤔 Not sure if this is good. I'll find out. March 25, 2023 Skywalker OG is really amazing. I have no idea what her yield will be, but it will be a decent amount... I think. Her buds are growing really fast. They are getting super chunky, even on the lower half of the canopy. The light penetration is great. however, because she only has a corner of the tent, I have been rotating her every morning to make sure every part of the plant gets even lighting. What's really nice is that she's not leafy at the buds. Much better for trimming. She's perfect with watering now. Everything is leveled out and didn't need watering today. Finally. Wedding Glue is also looking great. She took really well to the defoliation and already started to fill back out. She has a ton of bud sites, and her internodal spacing is really short. Might be a bad thing? My only concern is her size. How big will those buds get? On the other hand, her branches are super stiff and couldn't be trained even if I wanted to. That being said, hopefully they will grow thick buds that cover her entire canopy. She also did not need watering today. I'll keep an eye though. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.8° RH: 54.4% VPD: 1.19 kPa Update: my dehumidifiers arrived today. Perfect size. Both are now in the tent clearing out the extra moisture. It will take a couple hours for them to acclimate. And the temp will come up a few degrees as well. Very happy. I also turned the intensity down 10%. It seems to be the sweet spot now. Hopefully it will take some of the stress off of Skywalker OG. And Wedding Glue also started to pray slightly. Very happy for that. March 26, 2023 Today is another bottom feed for Wedding Glue. She completely dried up the reservoir last night... Again. She's still super short, but the massive amount of bud sites completely makes up for it. Hopefully she will completely fill her canopy with tops. Skywalker OG continues to bulk up. And looks great in that aspect, but I have an issue with browning leaves up top, but it's also happening at the lower bud sites as well. Some is getting purple, so I'm wondering if I should be worried or not. I believe it's light burn, but the light isn't intense enough to burn the lower sites. Or is it a PH issue? See pictures. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.6° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.15 kPa March 27, 2023 Wedding Glue has officially finished growing at 15". She is much shorter than I expected. So hopefully her plethora of buds makes up for it. They look pretty good too. She's still filling back out and a lot of the top leaves are maturing. I may look to do another defoliation in a week? Maybe nothing? I'm not sure. Lots of sites are being covered. She's also quite thirsty. Sucking up an easy 2 liters a day. She's getting topped off daily as well with her soil staying at a 53% moisture level. She seems happy there. I also lifter up a couple of inches to get her oser to the light. I'd say she's right at the sweet spot. Skywalker OG is doing fantastic. Her buds are getting thicker and bigger everyday. They're not as heavy as I was hoping, but there is definitely more time left on her. At least 10 days. Maybe more? She's drinking at a nice steady pace now. I'd say close to 1.5 liters a day. It's hard to tell. She's in living soil, so I know to not let it dry out. I figure keeping her in the correct moisture level is better than the fluctuation of wet to dry. I'm probably wrong, but if I am, I'll learn. I'm also going to add some cal-mag today when it gets here. Hopefully that helps with the spotting. If you're nailing the nutrition, don't do a pre-harvest flush, and the genetics don't support it, then there's a good chance you won't see senescence and there's nothing wrong with that. As long as you're happy with the trichomes on your grow, then no one can you tell it's the wrong time to harvest. There's a lot of debate about "flushing" and what it can or can't do for your plant (including a lot of recent research on this). Many top professional farms don't flush at all and as a result they see little to no senescence in their crop. That said, I always flush - probably due to habit and/or bro-science - and I do always see a "fade" as a result. I've no way or telling you if this actually improved the smoke or quality though. Latest research suggests that it doesn't really help, but that probably won't stop me doing it every harvest! 😂

I normally don't ask more than one question a week, but I believe I'm at a critical point with my wedding glue. She hasn't grown at all in the last 2 days at 14.5". I haven't defoliated yet because of stretch, but I think she's done. Should I defoliate or wait a few more days?

Yeah bud, I'd say it's definitely a good time to defoliate that lady. Shes quite the bush.

Another question?! Anyway, what the hell is this browning? I think it's light burn. But why is it lower too? PH? Magnesium? Nitrogen toxicity? Par: 1300 PPFD Fox Farm tiger bloom 7 ml/gal. Fish Shit 3 ml/gal. See diary for environmental conditions. Thanks for the help. Again.

That is helpful @Prilyfe13. I think we can definitely narrow it down to two things - a lack of Calcium (which matches your description of brown dots progressively getting worse and becoming more blocky), and possible light burn. If the issue is only affecting the very top of the plant nearest the light, then I believe you may have hit the nail on the head with light burn. Looking at your photo dated 19th March, the issue wasn't present in it's current form then, but I can see the sides of the leaves starting to curl up. This is THE classic light burn symptom. It begins on the sides of the leaves (rather than the tips, like nutrient burn) and then progresses inwards. But, you've obviously described a classic calcium deficiency as well, as I said... so perhaps it's six of one and half-dozen of the other! When it comes to living soil, I am certainly no expert, but my understanding is that you don't generally need to add too much in the way of nutrients as this is mostly in the soil already. Hopefully someone with more experience than me in this field will be able to help you... That said, if you don't get any more expert advice, I would probably err on the side of caution and raise/dim the lights (as you have done) and then maybe incorporate some Cal-Mag into the next few feeds, just to be sure it's getting enough. I don't think I've ever seen calcium or magnesium toxicity myself, so if you're using the small recommended doses, I can't see that it would cause any harm even if it doesn't need it. RE: Fish shit - I don't think this is the cause. So long as you're only using the recommended dosages, it should be fine. RE: an equipment list - don't even get us started or it will never end lol. All you technically need is air, water, soil and the sun... that doesn't explain why my spare room looks like the inside of Area 51's weapons testing facility. 😂 PH and TDS/EC meters are great, but I managed to grow successfully for years without them - particularly growing in soil which is much more forgiving. Its the same with basically every growing accessory I own. The main thing, to me, is managing the growing environment: keeping humidity high in veg and low in flower, keeping temps in the ideal range in the day and at night, etc. Those are the hardest things to do as you might be fighting against building itself, weather and geography etc, which are not battles that can be easily won. In future, if you want to keep your plants smaller and spread out the canopy more to avoid light burn and increase the PPFD or what would otherwise be lower branches, I would recommend that you start practicing LST or SCROG'ing, but that's more a technique than an accessory - other than the plant ties you'll need to make LST'ing easy. 😁 Good luck!

March 28, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day 66 DLI: 45 at canopy. 72 at top. Final Height 38" Wedding Glue: Day 59 DLI: 40 Final Height: 15.5" This week is a major focus on taking care of the leaf issues with Skywalker OG. The light as before has been brought down to 60%. I also administered Advanced Nutrients Cal Mag Extra. 4 ml/gal. I've also dropped the tiger bloom back down to 5 ml/gal. The next option is to attempt to flush a living soil? That's absurd. Other than that, she is building super fat buds and I couldn't be happier... Well, I could be, but a pound of weed from one plant is asking a bit much. Lol. Anyway, her trichomes production is fantastic. She has so much resin that my hand got sticky just from a small accidental brush to one of the sugar leaves. Not even a bud. Very happy. She smells great too! As for Wedding Glue, she stopped growing at 15.5". A very much shorter plant than I was expecting, but I work with what I have. So the issue with her is the foliage. There is so much and it's covering everything under the very top. I'm guessing over time this won't be an issue? I'll ask the question. Other than that, she's still super thirsty, buds are getting bigger. Lots and lots of pistils. A little small, but not bad. I had a white widow that had tiny pistils and was almost all leaf. Was not a good turn out. So, I feel l should keep an eye on her. She also smells great! Not sticky that I can tell. Honestly, I handle very little of the plant as I can. Especially during flowering. I'm not seeing much in trichome production yet, but it's still really early in flower for her. I still feel like the abundance of bud sites will make up for it. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.8° RH: 54.8% VPD: 1.18 kPa Update: Humidity is a bit of a struggle for the past few days. Hopefully it will break soon. Or I'm gonna need to get yet another dehumidifier. I'm also going to have to get sealed reservoirs like the AC Infinity ones. Update 2: I did some more research on trimming and I guess this is the best time. Right after she is done stretching. Up to week 3 as mentioned on the second Defoliation question. So much appreciated. I think my timing is right with the flowering week. But my concern is still the age of the plant. Anyway, I trimmed a bunch of the matured leaves with the purple stems. I left the new growth to fill in the holes... Not that there is any. She is still covered in foliage. But a lot of the bud sites are open now so she should be good. Like last time, she drooped a bit for a day and then was back to normal. She will be perfect and in 5 weeks, she will show it all. March 29, 2023 As expected, Wedding Glue took perfectly well to her defoliation. A little sad for the evening and perky as ever today. She's quite happy and I only had to take 3 more leaves off that I missed. Most of the bud sites are showing at least a bit. I'm guessing as the buds get bigger, they will start to overtake the leaves. If not, I can pop a leaf or 2 every once in a while if need be. She's stacking nicely and as she is so compact, she will fill up very quickly. Bud formation is as described so far. Ping pong ball shaped. I'm guessing that will be the overall size of the upper buds. For now, I'll be focusing on her water intake. Everything seems really good so far. Just have to keep an eye. Container is getting a little light as well. Skywalker OG is also doing quite well. She is packing on more and more weight. Today... To me... This plant is definitely filling out. Most of the lower buds are fat as well. There are a couple that are falling behind. No worries though. The rest make up for it. She's taking in a good amount of water still. Cal-Mag seems to be working? No clue how to tell, to be honest. All I know is that she is growing and looks good. Could she be better? Sure? I dunno. Anyway, it looks like the light burn has stopped at least. There hasn't been any more progress since I dropped the intensity. Either way, I think she's good now. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.8° RH: 53.2% VPD: 1.25 kPa March 30, 2023 So today we have a nicely watered Wedding Glue. She has started stacking over her canopy. Lots of tops and buds pushing through the foliage. Looks great! Perfect light intensity. She also got about a half liter top feed today. And filled up the reservoir as well. Skywalker OG is also doing quite well. More weight. And no changes in the leaves from yesterday. I think she is in the clear now. I noticed that the leaves are starting to get darker. I wonder if she's going to turn colors. Deep purple? That would be nice. She is a tiny bit light. I'll most likely give her another top feeding tomorrow. It's been nearly a week, so she may be due for one anyway. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 52.3% VPD: 1.30 kPa March 31, 2023 Not much going on with the ladies today. They are bud building. Skywalker OG is amazing. Super fat and heavy buds, great smell and everything! The buds are getting heavy enough to start putting a bit of stress on the branches. Noice! The only issue I see now is clawing at the top. It has to be something like a nitrogen toxicity. She should fix herself in a day or already has. She's still running around 50% soil moisture content, so I don't want to flood her and risk over watering so close to harvest. However, her reservoir was cut in half with plain water, so all the nutrients are minimal. When she dries out this feeding, I'll flush a little bit. Wedding Glue is looking lovely. Her tops are starting to get bigger and stacking very nicely. I don't know what she's going look like in the end, but so far she has the right shaped buds and created her own level canopy. Everything is perfect except her size. She small, but packed, and I mean packed, with bud sites and tops everywhere. As long as she gets those dense plump ping pong ball sized buds, we will see a great harvest. Oh, and her branches are super stiff, like an aged maple. TIGHT internodal spacing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.0° RH: 50.6% VPD: 1.33 kPa Update: I decided to raise the light and increase the intensity by 10%. The DLI stayed nearly the same. My goal here is to give Wedding Glue a wider light spread which seems to have worked. I also feel like it's helping penetrate further around Skywalker OG on her lower branches. Hopefully this gets more light to places it just couldn't reach. Now the light distance is roughly 21" from Wedding Glue. Wider spread without loss of intensity. In theory, it should work much better. When Skywalker OG comes out of the tent for harvest, I'll be able to increase the intensity a bit more to get a DLI of around 48. I'll also be able to take Wedding Glue off the box and back to the floor. Very much satisfied... Until I'm not because of a screw up. Hahaha! April 1, 2023 More and more weight put on Skywalker OG. Very happy girl. She got about a liter of water in the top and a full reservoir. Looking great! I haven't seen any more rust spots. So that's good as well. I'd say about 2 weeks left. Wedding Glue is also looking great! More bud production and fattening up those stacks. She's getting more thirsty too. She'll be getting a watering this afternoon. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 54% VPD: 1.31 kPa April 2, 2023 Skywalker OG is looking fantastic. She is still suffering from light burn at the very top. I haven't seen anything else get worse anywhere on her. Buds are still growing fat and heavy. She also has an extremely strong scent of gas. Very nice and heady. Wedding Glue is also looking great! She is stacking like mad and has tons and tons of bud sites. I'd say another 4 weeks for her. Maybe 5. No complaints here. She will have better bud that way. The new watering kit I picked up is working wonders. 1 gallon instead of a half gallon. Sturdy as well. Also it's mostly a sealed system. The containers cover all the openings on the lid. Very nice. It's also a great help for the humidity issue I was running into over the past few days. So an excellent purchase. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74° RH: 53.7% VPD: 1.29 kPa Update: Wedding Glue got a lift of about 2.5". Just to get her a little closer to the light. I did end up dropping the intensity back down to 60% to try and not burn Skywalker OG anymore. Seems good so far. I have also increased the advanced nutrients for Wedding Glue from 4 ml to 6 ml. I'll be giving plain water to Skywalker OG starting the next watering. April 3, 2023 The end of this week and we have 2 beautiful ladies. Skywalker OG looks fantastic as always. She is still bulking up and happily, she hasn't started changing pistil color yet. Much more fattening time. Wedding Glue has plump buds and tons of pistils. I am a bit concerned with how bushy she is. I may have to remove more leaves. There's a whole lot overlapping. However, the air flow in the tent is excellent. And I haven't seen any moisture build up between leaves. But as I said, she is super bushy. She's also taking even more water. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.1° RH: 51.2% VPD: 1.23 kPa

Week 10 question for Wedding Glue. I know there is a lot of controversy over trimming autoflowers. Let's say it's semi safe. She's super bushy again. Should I do another defoliation? OR wait another few days? I'm worried about timing. I have very little left. Thanks all!

Hi, I follow @LegacyMarketFarm here and on you tube. He indicated there should be final defoliation 3rd week after flowers start. This forces energy to all remaining bud sites. I did this with my plants to keep down any mold issues since I couldn't control humidity. .I will say, however, there are many different thoughts on the 3rd defoliation. Happy growing and have fun 👍

I ordered an auto feed base kit from AC Infinity. It comes with built in water level indicators. Does anyone know where I can get a wireless probe to replace the standard indicator? I can check the levels remotely. Like a low high level indicator or a float? Thanks!

check yard irrigation brands? orbit, rainbird, dig, or maybe an amazon search to find possibilities, even if not bought from there. there are definitely options out there, i do not know if they all function on the same protocol (plug n play accross brands? standardizations?)

April 4, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day 74 Wedding Glue: Day 67 This week we are focusing on water and flowering. Skywalker OG is in the final stage of her life. She's getting some orange pistils. Covered in trichomes. And heavy. She got a top plain watering today. Kind of like a flush, but I'm in living soil so more like runoff. So she should be good for the next few days. I'm guessing about a week before I need to start checking trichomes. Maybe a bit less. Wedding Glue is also looking great. She's holding her water quite well. And I absolutely had to snip some leaves off. She is just so bushy. Only mature leaves that were covering buds. So like 20 leaves. Smh. So many leaves and so many buds. I'll have to work on that more. She has a wonderful sweet smell. Buds are looking great! Trichomes are much more prominent now. She stacked about a half inch over the past couple of days. I hope for some more stacking. It looks like it will happen. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 54.2% (super high humidity today.) VPD: 1.25 kPa April 5, 2023 Not much to report today. Skywalker OG is still blooming big fat flowers. Pistils are turning orange now. She's also taking in less water. Wedding Glue is taking a decent amount of water. About a half gallon yesterday. I'm going to leave her for now and let the moisture in the soil drop a bit. Her buds are building at a steady pace. She already has a fairly strong smell. Sickly sweet. Pungent. Trichome production just kicked into high gear on her. A great sign for some frosty nugs. I am a bit concerned with how bushy she still is. She needs more open space. Definitely not enough for all her bud sites. I ended up clipping off some of the mature leaves that were sitting on top of a bud or another leaf. More bud focused though. I have. Ton of air flow in the tent, so I'm not too worried about moisture so much as light penetration to the lower buds. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 56.1% (very muggy day) VPD: 1.17 kPa April 6, 2023 It's still very humid today. I have another dehumidifier coming today as well. For the main room. (bedroom) Skywalker OG is just getting heavier and heavier. I'm also starting to see some purple. Purple fade? I don't think Skywalker OG is a purple strain. She needs no watering and is definitely slowing down on intake as well. Skywalker OG leveled out at 45% soil moisture. So did Wedding Glue actually. Interesting. They are different soil types. I guess cannabis likes 40% to 45%. Wedding Glue had some more leaves removed today. I'm slowly chipping away at her jungle of foliage. I only have one more side to look through. She is looking much better now, but still needs that one side and she will be perfect. She got a reservoir refill today as well. She has also started 5 ml/gal Fox Farm Tiger Bloom. Advanced Nutrients is up to 6 ml/gal. She's getting frosty too. Lots of trichomes and spreading to the fan leaves. Very excited. I wonder if she will turn purple. She is a purple strain after all. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 61.2% (very humid) VPD: 1.07 kPa April 7, 2023 Skywalker OG is getting super fat and looks really dense. Another 6 days. She's going to end up beastly. Less water intake. A couple more orange pistils. Wedding Glue is getting plump buds. They look dense and covered in pistils. Trichomes just burst into existence as well. She's covered. Water intake is steady. Smell is very sweet. So nice. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.22 kPa April 8, 2023 Both ladies got a reservoir refill today. I added 6 ml cal/mag with Skywalker OG. So hopefully that clears up any possible issues. I can't tell if she adjusted out of that deficiency. Skywalker OG is heavy. Really heavy. I moved her pot just a tiny bit and the whole plant swayed enough to give a sense of her total weight and she is heavy. I wanna say a 3 lb plant? Maybe a little less, but she is in balance with a 5 lb container. Maybe 6 lb. Either way, this is going to be a wonderful harvest. I'm also starting to see a bit more purple in the buds. Very nice. Super frosty too. An interesting observation I had today was the pistils. The lower pistils started turning orange before the top. I mean, if that's the case, then wouldn't the lower buds now be just as potents and possibly as dense as the top colas? Every bud sites is now getting orange, but there are certainly more as you go down the plant. Odd. Wedding Glue is looking great as well. Her buds are getting fatter and trichome production is vigorous to say the least. I had to snip a few more leaves today. They were covering more bud sites. I'll check again tomorrow and maybe have to snip a few more. But I'm not taking more than a few each day if I have to. The leaves move around based on the light, so they cover and uncover buds. Plus, more airflow isn't a bad thing. An interesting observation with her as well. She is in 50/50 Fox Farm Ocean Forest and Happy Frog. I think having the Advanced Nutrients the whole grow helped keep her going. I'm not sure how much the soil has left of nutrients. No deficiencies or issues at all. Just short. I wonder how she will react to the Tiger Bloom I just started. Oh! And because this isn't living soil, I might get some nice colorful fade when I flush her. Sweet. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.2° RH: 53% VPD: 1.28 kPa April 9, 2023 FROST! Holy trichomes, Batman! Skywalker OG is covered top to bottom in trichomes. Sticky, smelly, beautiful trichomes! She's slowing her water intake even more. Buds are getting bigger still. Flowers are more prominent. Seeing a bit more purple. I also discovered the cal mag issue was not stopped at first. I think it's fixed now, but it did get to the lowest node eventually. She got a 6 ml dose of cal mg yesterday. So that should do it. She has like 5 days left. I don't want her to have anymore stress at all. I'd also like to point out that I rotate each plant a quarter everyday, so they get equal amounts of light on all sides. Wedding Glue is also getting super frosty. I pulled a couple leaves off her today. She's thirsty. Bud production is looking fantastic. I'm still concerned about how dense she is. But I really don't want to defoliate again. Maybe the last week or so of flower? Last few days? I dunno. She's already finishing up week 3 of flower. I'd rather her focus on bud production than stress from defoliation. Maybe the way to go is to pull a few leaves a day from specific locations. I'll also make sure to pull only mature leaves. The ones with the purple stems. I still have good airflow, so I'm not concerned too much. But condensation between the leaves is still a possibility. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 50.9% VPD: 1.31 kPa April 10, 2023 Today, I snipped off more mature leaves on top of Wedding Glue. Just the ones overshadowing the canopy. Some that weren't getting light and a couple in the canopy. She still needs more leaves off, but she's getting close to the end of the window. Maybe one more trimming tomorrow then that's it. Just to get the rest of the big top leaves doing more harm than good. These buds are getting big pretty quickly. I'm hoping for more density so I can clip more leaves for space. She is super smelly and sticky. I may run a flush this week. Her reservoir is almost dried up, so I'm just waiting for the container to dry out to around 20%. Skywalker OG is just amazing. She's not going to get a "flush" because I'm using living soil, but I plan on dumping a full gallon of water from the top when she dries up. Most will drain to the reservoir and hopefully pull some of the synthetic nutrients out. She's nearly done. Another 4 or 5 days maybe? Very excited for the harvest results. The whole plant has a decent amount of weight to her. Top heavy and nearly counter balancing the 50% moisture filled soil. Like 6 lbs. A very good sign. One or 2 of the middle branches are starting to get weighed down. I expect her to tighten up over the next couple of days. She has a massively heavy scent. It's wonderful. I can't really tell the true smell with the Wedding Glue in there as well. But they both smell wonderful. Skywalker is super super sticky. She is covered and I mean covered in trichomes. Some of the lower buds are so dense in trichomes, the buds almost look white. I'm definitely gonna grow this again and again. Love me a Skywalker. April 11, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day 81 Wedding Glue: Day 74 This week we focus on Skywalker OG. She's heavy and her pistils are starting to turn a bit faster now. Trichomes are still mostly clear. No big deal. She still has about 4 or 5 days left to go. Skywalker OG is looking great! She is super top heavy and over night packed on a whole bunch more trichomes. Every bud is super frosty and will only get more so as the trichomes change to cloudy. She's not quite ready for her final watering, but should be ready tomorrow. I'll be running plain water top feed one gallon. Hopefully it will clear out some of the tiger bloom salts if there's any. She looks amazing. Nice powerful scent. Pungent and super gassy. Wedding Glue is also looking fantastic! Her tops are already super thick and dense. She has an extremely strong scent. Overwhelmingly strong. AWESOMESAUCE! She's still super dense and still needs a few leaves removed here and there. I'll be focusing on that with her this week. Her reservoir was bone dry this morning, so I filled her up with 1 gallon. One thing I'd like to point out is that she is a super long grow for a 63 to 70 day plant. Oh well. Looks like I don't need to worry about days in the grow anymore. However, I am focused on how many days of flower she has. That's the only thing helping me know when she will be ready. I say 3 weeks maybe 4. And with the size and shape of her buds, I can tell she will be a beast. Oh yah, she is STICKY to say the least. I can't even get in there to trim leaves without brushing a leaf filled with trichomes. Lol. It's a wonderful thing. As for coming up in the coming weeks, I won't be flushing until the last week of flower. Then I leave her be until harvest day. It's especially recommended by Fast Buds in their description. I also read it somewhere else. Wedding Glue: 1 gallon mix day 1. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.1° RH: 50.3% VPD: 1.35 kPa April 12, 2023 Skywalker OG is just about there. She has about 50% orange pistils. Trichomes are a mix of cloudy and clear. About 50/50. Not seeing any amber yet. But she still has days to go. I also dumped a gallon plain water on her, pulled the wicking system and let the excess water drain out of the soil so all it has left is what's in the soil. Should be a few days to dry out then the 48 hour dark period and finally harvest. So a grand total of 5 more days I guess? Wedding Glue got crazy dense with bud. It feels like overnight her buds doubled is mass. Her branches have huge colas all over the place. 4 branches have 3 massive tops each. The top is getting pretty big as well. I'm feeling really good about this plant now. She seems to be enjoying her tiger bloom considering the size of these buds. Day 2 Wedding Glue reservoir. Just over 0.25 gallons. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.5° RH: 53.7% VPD: 1.28 kPa April 13, 2023 Today I'm seeing a bit more orange pistils on Skywalker OG. I also found like 4 amber trichomes. She's definitely almost there. She is still emptying her soil moisture. I believe I am on point with 3 days left of water for her, now 2. I think she may have a day or 2 more of fattening those buds up. The pistils may be orange, but they're still sticking out. Just a few more days. Wedding Glue is looking amazing. She is super frosty and sticky. She smells wonderful. I'm still chipping away at her foliage. She's at day 21 in flower, so I'm going to slow down on defoliation and focus on just those leaves super impeding other growth. She's getting really fat buds as well. It's very exciting to watch. So far I've managed to keep the tops open to the light, but the lower branches are essentially overwhelmed by dense foliage. I'm carefully sifting the leaves to find the bud sites that can be opened up. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.27 kPa April 14, 2023 Wedding Glue got a refill today. A full gallon with a little under half going into the top soil and the rest in the reservoir. There's also been some major bud growth with her now. Super noticable from yesterday. Skywalker OG is still working on her final watering. She's taking a bit longer than I expected. I'd say another 2 or 3 days before she is dried out. She must have put some more weight on last night, because today she is starting to lean a bit. Looks like the bud weight is finally overwhelming her. The lesson learned here is top dress every few weeks. Anyway, she has a lot of cloudy trichomes now. Still very few amber trichomes. Super dense buds. No fade of the leaves though. Just the damaged ones from the calcium issue. I wonder why I never get a fade. Is it the living soil? Am I doing something wrong? I should look into this. If anyone is reading this, leave a comment with what you think. In other matters, the smell of these 2 ladies is overwhelming. Not in a bad way, but too much smell gets out of the tent when it's opened even for a minute. It's great, but I can't let it escape. Lol. So that's a great thing! Dankness. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.3° RH: 55.5% VPD: 1.34 April 15, 2023 I ordered the flowering nutrients from Advanced Nutrients today. They will be here tomorrow. Nirvana Bud Candy Big Bud Overdrive Flawless Finish Wedding Glue will be getting those and I'm stopping the tiger bloom. So her next watering will start at the lowest dose of all the new nutrients needed for this week her flowering. Let's hope she doesn't get overdosed. She's in fox farm, so this should be perfect for her. She has even fatter buds. More and more trichomes. She also looks extremely happy and healthy. Not a single thing wrong with her. With these new nutrients, let's hope those buds get so big they take over the entire plant. Skywalker OG is getting pretty light. I think tomorrow, she will be dry enough to go in the dark tent. She isn't entirely done ripening those trichomes, but I am guessing that is what the dark period is for. Plus I'm giving her an extra day from before. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.4° RH: 57.4% VPD: 1.21 kPa April 16, 2023 Wedding Glue looks absolutely amazing! Bud development is picking up. The nutrients I ordered yesterday will be here today and just in time. She just dried out her reservoir. She'll get a full reservoir refill. There are a few lower leaves that are just too low from the canopy and are potentially blocking air flow. Skywalker OG is taking a bit longer than I expected. She doesn't have amber trichomes yet. She is nearly dried out as well. She can go another day I think. Then 48 hours of dark. I hope I'm not too early with her final stage of growth. She is really starting to lean and pull at the roots more. She is definitely top heavy. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.6° RH: 56.8% VPD: 1.19 kPa Update: I was looking through the trichomes on Skywalker OG. Almost all of them are cloudy. I also looked back over the past few weeks. There are trichomes that should be turning amber any day. So I put her in the dark tent for 48 hours. That should hopefully assist in trichome maturation. If I'm wrong, a 3rd day in the dark won't hurt. April 17, 2023 Quick update on Skywalker OG. She's in the dark until tomorrow night then the chop. She's fine and dandy in the tent. Humidity is a bit high in my opinion, but it's raining today. I put a dehumidifier in to combat the lower temp and high humidity. 66° and 54% humidity. Hopefully it drops down. Soil is nearly dried out. Very light, but can still feel moisture around the fabric. I believe this plant will be around 3 lbs? 4.2 ounces dried, trimmed and cured. That's my guess. The most amazing part of this is the size of the plant with the container. It's nearly 4 feet tall. The tent is 4 feet tall. Hahahaha! There will be more room when she gets the chop. Wedding Glue is looking and smelling fantastic! Buds are getting fatter and she doesn't seem to be upset with the new nutrients. She's also much happier with being lower to the ground with a wider light spread. I turned the light up to 70% and have it at 26" from the canopy. I'd like it a bit higher, but I don't want to increase the heat too much in there. I may do that though and increase the light to 80%. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.9° RH: 53.4% VPD: 1.35 kPa Quick Update: I decided to lift the plants in the grow tent 2 inches and raised the grow light to 27" above canopy and 90% intensity. DLI is between 38 and 45.

April 18, 2023 Skywalker OG: Day: 88 Wedding Glue: Day: 81 This week will focus on Wedding Glue as she has around 3 total weeks left before harvest. This week also starts Nirvana 4 ml/gal and Overdrive 2ml/gal nutrients. She has really thick tops and as I had hoped, are taking over the whole plant. I may have to do a light defoliation sooner rather than later. I'll assess today and decide what to do for tomorrow. Skywalker OG is going to be harvested tomorrow morning I think. She doesn't have quite enough cloudy trichomes. I noticed the trichomes are stacking on top of each other on some of the buds. I believe they are new trichomes and not matured ones. Either way, I can see the older ones and they are just about ready. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 52.3% VPD: 1.41 kPa Dark Tent Environment: Temp: 68° RH: 50% VPD: 1.17 April 19, 2023 Skywalker OG: Chopped: Day 0 Wet weight: 1.3 lbs 10 to 14 day dry. Skywalker OG was chopped today as you can see. She is hanging whole for the next 2 weeks. The whole harvested plant was 20.8 oz. Based on the common practice of estimated dry weight, I took out 85% of the wet weight leaving 15% dry weight. The estimated total is 3.12 oz of dried and cured bud. Wedding Glue looks great! The bottle of nirvana came in today so she got a full gallon. 3/4 gallon in the reservoir and 1/4 gallon top feed. She is covered in frost and sticky and smells great! I ended up taking out some of the lower buds and some leaves that were blocking air flow. I know it's a little late for snippy snips, but they were taking up energy that could be utilized elsewhere. Not to mention, she has so much foliage and branches covered in buds, losing a few auxiliary nodes won't bother her. Not much anyway. I also took a few of the upper canopy leaves. The ones really overlapping and the ones getting essentially crushed by other leaves and buds. It's definitely tight in there. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.2° RH: 50.5% VPD: 1.40 kPa April 20, 2023 Happy 420 everyone! Hope the smoke is good and the snacks are sweet. Skywalker OG: Day 1 Drying Wedding Glue is looking better than ever. She put on some heft last night. Maybe the new nutrients I added are working that quickly? It's great! The foliage is super lush. She has an even sweeter smell too. Does anyone know how fast nutrients begin to work? Anyway, she seems to be drinking pretty fast. Her soil moisture went from 60% at fill down to 48%. She also went through about a liter of water from the reservoir. Very nice. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74° RH: 50.8% VPD: 1.38 kPa April 21, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 2 Drying weight: 12 oz. Wedding Glue is so smelly and sticky. I can't help but admire her in all her frosty glory. She's also cruising through her water. Fantastic! Buds are absolutely huge compared to her size. Cleared out a couple leaves under the canopy that were never going to see the light of grow. She is all bud and foliage. I can't wait to see how she turns out. 2 and a half weeks left. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 52% VPD: 1.42 kPa April 22, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 3 Drying Weight: 8.5 oz I read that the best way to know when your plants are dry is by weight. When your plant reaches 25% to 30% of it's wet weight, it should be dry and ready for trimming. That's what I read at least. It'll be easy enough to know. Just do the snap test and see if it matches up. I'm using a hanging fish scale. Kinda wish it measured in grams. I'll find one eventually. But ounces is fine. Just a rough estimate of total plant weight. So I'll check at 6.25 oz. Then at 5.2 oz. Wedding Glue looks fantastic! She is getting super dense now and her pistils are starting to turn orange. I also finally figured out when to start flushing. Or what the "last week" is. After the pistils turn 60% orange, then start flushing for a week? I think that's it. Based on common information I found throughout the interwebs, flowering takes around 6 weeks with an autoflower. Up to 10 weeks I believe. We are in the middle of week 4 now. So another 10 days then she should be ready for flushing? This is all in theory, mind you. Anyway, she's looking great! Tons of frost all over the place. The leaves are getting dark and look like they are about to turn to a purple of some sort. No issues whatsoever. Let's hope for some beautiful harvest colors. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 54.3% VPD: 1.35 kPa April 23, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 4 Drying Weight 7.3 oz. I believe I'm correct in saying that the first couple days of drying is when they lose most of their weight. Good to know. Wedding Glue needed a watering today. She got 1 liter of top feed and the rest of the gallon in the reservoir. I saw a couple more of those tiny flies, so I got out my foliar bug spray stuff. A couple mists under the canopy and on the soil. Should do it. When the top dries out a bit, I'll do a diatomaceous earth sprinkle. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.1° RH: 57% VPD: 1.25 kPa April 24, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 5 Drying Weight 6.5 oz. I took a second weight reading yesterday afternoon. She read 6.5 oz. So I believe she is in the most important part of drying. This is when she starts to really push the moisture out of the buds. The environment is nearly perfect. Dry System Environment: Temp: 69° RH: 58% VPD: 1.02 kPa Wedding Glue is frosty and fat as ever. She still has a good 2 weeks left. 1 week of flowering and 1 week of flush. I'll also do a defoliation... A much REQUIRED defoliation a few days before she gets the chop. Pistils are around 15% orange. And she has more trichome production ahead of her. My real question is, will she get some purple leaves going on? Or is this a strictly the green phenome and will it turn purple after the flush? I haven't touched the buds at all, so I don't know how dense they are. There's definitely too much foliage to really see what's happening. I do know that if I touch a single bud, my hands will be sticky for hours. Hell, I get sticky pulling out a fan leaf or 2. Anyway, a natural grow with zero human contact. I have gloves for when it's time for harvest. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 55.1% VPD: 1.27 kPa

April 25, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 6 Drying Weight: 6 oz. She looks great! 4 more days of this and I'll have some perfectly dried bud. She only lost a half ounce over the last day. So she is certainly slowing down. I'm hoping she doesn't lose much more. Day 88 Wedding Glue looks amazing. Big fat, stinky sticky buds. She looks great. I started pulling some leaves off of her. I'll continue to do so until harvest. Or one big defoliation in about a week. I'm not sure yet. She seems to have slowed down significantly in reservoir water intake, and the soil is already down to 30% moisture. I'm not sure I understand what is happening. Anyway, my plan is to empty the reservoir into a sprayer thing and do a top feed until it trickles down and then put the rest back in the reservoir. Maybe that will kick start the bottom feeding again. Still a good week of flower before the flush. I also refilled the reservoir with the higher nutrient dose for this week. Kinda perfect timing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73° RH: 54.8% VPD: 1.22 kPa April 26, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 7 Drying Weight: 6 oz Retention: 29% Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 67.9° RH: 56.6% VPD: 1.01 kPa Wedding Glue So I'm still trying to figure out why my plant is no longer taking water from the bottom. In the meantime I emptied the reservoir into my sprayer and unloaded all of it from the top. She had a little bit of runoff, but enough to know she was saturated and to see if the wick will pull up that runoff. Thanks to the answers to my question, I have these options. This week will see how it works. I snipped off some leaves today. A couple older ones, some that were blocking middle bud sites and then some that were being crushed between colas. I'm definitely going to defoliate before she goes in the dark tent for a couple days. That won't be for another week and a half. Getting stickier and stinkier. Almost overwhelmingly potent. I also noticed today that the tops aren't as tight as I thought they were. This is the second super leafy plant I have had and I think they both did this. Lesson learned. Defoliate leafy plants, especially the ones closest to the colas. I will be doing that the next time I get a leafy plant. Overall, the start of this week has been pretty good. Lots of frost, packing on more weight. Still a good 10 to 12 days left I'd say. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.3° RH: 53.2% VPD: 1.33 kPa April 27, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 8 Drying Weight: 6 oz. Retention: 29% Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 66.8° RH: 58.3% VPD: 0.93 kPa No noticable weight loss over the last 2 days. Wedding Glue Looking and smelling great! She seems to have pulled up the runoff pretty easily. So I refilled the reservoir with 1 gallon nutrient mix. If it stops working again, I'll just dump the reservoir into the sprayer. She already feels about 3 lbs lighter than yesterday. Must be thirsty. Lol. Aside from that, everything looks great. She's nearly ready. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 52.9% VPD: 1.35 kPa April 28, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 9 Drying Weight: 5.5 oz. 155 grams. Retention: 26.61% Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 67.9° RH: 57.8% VPD: 0.99 kPa Some weight loss overnight, but not much. Considering it's been 9 days, I expected a bit more weight loss. Trimming might kill the yield though. Buds are still dense, so maybe I won't lose as much as I think. I'd say around 3 oz dried, trimmed and cured. Wedding Glue She looks amazing. Got a couple leaves snipped today. Water looks great. She definitely won't be needing another watering until the flushing starts. She doesn't seem to be swelling anymore. Maybe tightening up a bit. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.5° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.34 kPa April 29, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 10 Drying Weight: 150 grams. Retention: 25.75% She only lost 5 grams overnight. Just about there for her dry. Maybe a 2 to 4 days left. Wedding Glue: She's looking great! Water intake seems to be on point. Another 2 days or so before she needs a refill. Pistils are about 50% orange. Just about ready to start flushing. Nothing left to report or do for the next few days. Just let her ripen up. Also, the bottom feed system seems to have gotten the kickstart I was hoping for. I also added 2 more wicks to try and keep up with the water intake. I'll have to keep an eye on her weight as well. She seems to get kinda light pretty quickly. Excellent! Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 55.7% VPD: 1.31 kPa April 30, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 11 Drying Weight: 153 grams (bouncing between 150 and 155. It's really humid and warm today, having a lot of trouble keeping both down. Temp: 70° RH: 62% Wedding Glue looks great! I'm starting to take off the oldest leaves slowly. Although, I don't think it will matter at this point. She has so much foliage, I doubt she'll notice. Her reservoir has dried out and now I'm just waiting for the soil to dry up a bit. Then the flushing begins. The whole of next week will be flushing before harvest day. 48 hour dark period and I think a wet trim or at least a partial one. Too much foliage. Other than that, things look great! I didn't bother checking trichomes today as I know they need a bit more time. I'm going for 25% amber with this strain, so the week long flush should give me just that. Can't wait. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.7° RH: 57.8% VPD: 1.30 kPa May 1, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 12 Drying Weight: 155 grams Temp: 69.2° RH: 58.8% She is just about there. I took a half branch sample today. Trimmed weight was 3.5 grams. She still has a bit of time left. Maybe later tonight or tomorrow. Either way, she's almost there. The smoke is amazing. A little harsh, but she isn't cured and not completely dry. I also weighed her out again before taking the sample. Still at 155 grams. I'm guessing that means she is done. But the branches aren't snapping quite yet. The bottom 2 node branches snap close to the base. The main tops are still kinda bendy. Maybe a tiny bit of snap. Still a good smoke. The high is awesome. I can only assume it will get better with curing. No hay smell no grassy taste. Really strong smelling. Very happy. Wedding Glue: Not much to report today. She is about 47% moisture and still looking great! I plopped a lighter in the center of the plant to get a better idea of the tops I'm working with. Massive. I took 3 leaves today. Trying to clear out the leaves getting zero light. Honestly, I should have cleared out all the popcorn buds when I had the chance. Tomorrow she will be getting the Flawless Finish for the rest of the grow. I'd say 2 to 3 flushes and she will be clean. Then she should be ready for harvest. The last few days when she starts to dry up, I'll place her in the dark tent for 48 hours before chopping and hanging. Wet trim on this one. It's getting humid and frankly, she has entirely way too much foliage to prevent mold or bud rot or something. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 57.7% VPD: 1.25 kPa

So I have a bottom feed wick system. Works great, but now my plant is dry on the bottom and seems to have slowed down to a trickle of water uptake. What does this mean? The soil is also drying out pretty quickly as well. See Diary for further details. What do I do? Thanks!

If this was my grow, I would be watering from the top since she's not taking it up from the wicking and is drying out.... the last thing you want is for your entire plant to turn crispy. Water until there's some runoff and then wait to see if the runoff is soaked back up into the pot - if it is, give more water until it stops soaking it back up and then throw away the excess... Good luck!

Harvest was great! She finished up in about 12 weeks. And just finished her dry time today. The sample I took was great! Super dense, flavorful and smells like lemon and diesel. The high is really good too. Definitely some of the better stuff I've grown so far. Good genetics and apparently a half decent grower. Hahahaha.

May 2, 2023 Day 96 Skywalker dried, trimmed and jarred. 60.5 grams. Not too bad. Could be better. Will be better next time. Wedding Glue is in the final week of her life. She got her first flush with Flawless Finish. Let's hope it brings out some nice colors. The focus this week will be defoliation, 48 hour dark tent and overall end of life stuff. Clean up and ready myself to start another grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 54.7% VPD: 1.25 kPa May 3, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 1 Curing Wedding Glue Second day of flushing and she already needed it again. Very interesting. Anyway, I started with a half gallon this morning and I'll check this afternoon to see if she needs the other half. Looking great though! Lots of trichomes lost of sticky and lots of bud. I was looking her over as well and noticed that these buds are seriously airy. I'm starting to think it's because of the overwhelming foliage. The same thing happened with the last super leafy plant I had. I'm guessing I should have defoliated way more than I did. I think I need to do a massive defoliation sometime this week before harvest. Maybe in 2 days. Other than that, coloring is still fantastic. She does have some tip burn, but that showed up during the flowering transition and stopped. Grow System Environment: Temp: 71.8° RH: 55.6% VPD: 1.16 kPa May the 4th Be With You Skywalker OG Day 2 Curing Wedding Glue She looks amazing with the exception of the bud formation. On the outside she looks like a huge yield, but the girth is ALL leaf. There's going to be a ton of larf. Too bad I don't have a press. Someday. Leaves are looking great, pistils are almost there and a couple trichomes just started turning amber. She will most likely need another watering tomorrow. I will be asking the question of what do I do with such a leafy plant? Major defoliation right before 48 hours of dark? Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 56% VPD: 1.18 kPa May 5, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 3 Curing Wedding Glue Looks great! I'm going to leave her alone for the rest of the week. She's starting to get some amber trichomes, but there are still too many clear ones for my liking. No leaf fade yet, but I'm expecting that any day now. Water retention is kind of weird. She won't stay above 45% moisture level. I don't know what that means. Maybe it's the amount of water the soil can hold. Good to know? Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 55% VPD: 1.33 kPa May 6, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 4 Curing Wedding Glue She looks great! Amber trichomes are starting to develop. I'm not sure if the Flawless finish is working as I'm in soil. But we shall see. The leaves are starting to get a nice purple tint to them. She finished bulking up so it's just a matter of those trichomes ripening. She got another full gallon up top today as well. With the flawless finish. I believe this will be the last watering she gets. She has just a few days left and I want her a bit dry in the dark tent. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.9° RH: 54.6% VPD: 1.28 kPa May 7, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 5 Curing Wedding Glue I feel like a complete moron. So I figured out the words I needed to express. She is overcrowded with foliage. So as the ultimate fool I am, I never tried to pull the branches out a bit to open the lower canopy. Well, today I was pulling the branches back and noticed they still have a little bit of give. So I decided to tie all the branches down just enough to expose the lower canopy. I should have done this weeks ago. Anyway, I might give her a couple more days in the light to see if I can at least salvage some of the lower popcorn and larf. She's fine with her water. About 39% moisture and kinda hanging out there. I'm not seen any fade though. Weird. She also doesn't have enough amber trichomes yet. There's also a few more clear trichomes for my liking. So maybe 5 days instead of 3? Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.6° RH: 54.4% VPD: 1.31 kPa May 8, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 6 Curing Wedding Glue She's almost there. Just another few days. Colas are beautiful. She has around 70% orange pistils and more trichomes are turning cloudy with a few more turning amber. She's around 30% soil moisture. I may have to add another feeding of flawless finish today, just to make sure I get the extra couple of days of maturing. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75° RH: 57.4% VPD: 1.25 kPa

What do I do with this overly leafy plant? I'm pretty sure the foliage caused very airy buds and tops. What should I do here? Major defoliation before 48 hours of dark? Leave it, cut the branches off when harvested and run a dry trim or with this should I run wet trim? Thanks!

This plant is looking beautiful! I would not recommend to defoliate this late in the growing phase. Just make sure that there will be enough moving air around this plant to prevent fungals. The only advice that I can give to you for this plant is to cut down the nutrients a bit. You are giving too much. 75% from what you are giving now is more then enough till harvest.

May 9, 2023 Day 103 Skywalker OG Day 7 Curing Wedding Glue I wonder why this plant is taking so long. It should be a 70 to 80 day strain. She is way overdue for harvest. Speaking of, she has another few days I guess. Amber trichomes are starting to pop up more. I also gave her half a gallon of flawless finish. Just in case she needs more time. I might only do a 24 hour dark period. She'll have to be trimmed back quite a bit before I harvest and hang up. I'll do that the day before I put her in the day of darkness. The entire lower canopy is completely under developed. That may cause her to be taking longer? She seems to be fixing that pretty quickly. Maybe some can be saved. I'm willing to bet it's going to be a very popcorny plant. Lots of larf as well. The buds don't feel very dense either. Depending on the actual harvest and bud structure, this may be a redo. Kinda bummed. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.6° RH: 53.7% VPD: 1.37 kPa May 10, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 8 Curing Wedding Glue I have a hypothesis. She is not ready yet. I wonder if it's due to the super underdeveloped lower canopy. Maybe she is working on that and slowing down her trichomes production? Maybe not? I just want to find a reason why she is taking so long. Other than that, she has a few more amber trichomes and more cloudy. She's getting there, just slower than I was anticipating. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.5° RH: 52.4% VPD: 1.40 kPa May 11, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 9 Curing Wedding Glue She's definitely finished growing. Inner canopy leaves are also getting darker. And buds are getting a little bit tighter. But still popcorn and larf. Oh well. I can tell it will be fire anyway. She is finally getting more amber trichomes. Maybe a few days to really get that ripeness on. Still well over 100 days is a bit of a bummer. I feel like so much extra time, I should have just gone with photos. Still a great structure and beautiful tops. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.3° RH: 51.6% VPD: 1.44 kPa May 12, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 10 Curing Wedding Glue How is this plant still going? Another day or 2? I don't get it. I gave another full gallon flush just in case. She is showing no signs of fade. She's tightening up a bit I think. Well, her orange pistils are dark and shriveling. That's good. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.5° RH: 51.9% VPD: 1.47 kPa May 13, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 11 Curing Wedding Glue I think it's time to harvest. It's been long enough and she has plenty of cloudy trichomes and very few clear. Some amber and that's that. Tonight I'll put her in the dark tent for 2 days. She seems to be taking in water fairly quickly. So I'm not worried about the moisture content. Hopefully the dark period will kick start trichome ripening. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.4° RH: 53.7% VPD: 1.41 kPa May 14, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 12 Curing Wedding Glue Today is the last day of flushing. I decided to do one more while she is still finishing up. I'll be harvesting at the end of this week no matter what. I have 2 more plants coming in the tent in a couple days and I need the space. Her trichomes are all the same. Mostly cloudy and very few amber. Just a few more days for more amber. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.1° RH: 52.8% VPD: 1.43 kPa May 15, 2023 Skywalker OG Day 13 Curing Wedding Glue Today is her last day. She has enough amber trichomes and very little clear. So it will be a bit of a day. She absolutely needs to be defoliated today so she can go in the dark tent tonight. She has really small leaves all throughout. I'll only be pulling leaves with seems I can easily access. That way, I won't go overboard. She'll also be joined by a Gelat.OG auto from the perpetual grow I have going on. Just happened that the Gelato actually finished on time. Hahaha. This way, they both get harvested at the same time. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.6° RH: 53.6% VPD: 1.29 kPa

Hey all! So Wedding Glue was good and bad. She was always super healthy and vibrant. The foliage was definitely overcrowded and I believe caused the buds and colas to not tighten up into each other as they should. I wet trimmed 1 branch to see what happens. Overall, I'm not too sad about the outcome. I do believe had she grown taller as she was supposed to, she wouldn't have been so bushy and would have produced tighter colas. I'll run her again and do a proper review for it then. For now, she is a solid 6 out of 10. Healthy, great aroma and super sticky. Wet weight: 665 grams May 17, 2023 Day 1 Drying So far everything is going perfectly. The environment is perfect for a long slow dry. Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 66° RH: 60% VPD: 0.87 kPa May 18, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 2 Drying. I wish I had a carousel so I could let these slowly rotate. Instead I have to open the tent and rotate the hanging rack by a quarter turn. This way every branch gets even distribution of the air flow around the tent. The conditions are still perfect. Temp dropped a bit as well as the RH, but still in near perfect range. It could be even better. So far it's too early to see how much of a difference there is between the wet trimmed branch and the rest of the untrimmed branches. Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 65.6° RH: 57% VPD: 0.93 May 19, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 3 Drying. Everything looks great! Environment is on point. Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 66.1° RH: 58.3% VPD: 0.91 kPa May 20, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 4 Drying Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 69° RH: 61% May 21, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 5 Drying Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 70.5° RH: 60% VPD: 1.02 kPa May 22, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 6 Drying The one branch I wet trimmed is done. 9 grams trimmed. The rest is about 2 days out. Maybe tomorrow. Really thin branches and somewhat wispy buds. It's the colas that need more time. Dry Tent Environment: Temp: 67.7° RH: 58% VPD: 0.98 kPa May 23, 2023 Trim Day! She dried for 7 days and is ready for jarring. A grand total of 88 grams and 5 jars filled with really fluffy, airy buds. Defoliation is an absolute with so much foliage. May 24, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 1 Curing. The jars will be burped 2 times a day or the first 10 days and then once a day for a week and finally once every other day for the rest of the cure of 4 to 6 weeks. The high is there, but the taste is a bit weak. Curing will help that immensely. May 25, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 2 Curing May 26, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 3 curing The cure on this plant is going fantastic. I'm starting to learn that these mini hydrometers don't work all that well. Anyway, the smell is fantastic and getting stronger. May 27, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 4 Curing May 28, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 5 Curing I discovered that the hydrometers are around 10% off. So I have to adjust my readings as needed. May 29, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 6 Curing May 30, 2023 Wedding Glue Day 7 Curing
