Veg a plant for about 6 weeks in order to get a strong enough plant to take multiple cuts and the plant recover in time for a good flower cycle. I have 15 clones at the moment and I wont cut a plant until atleast 4-6 weeks then I will flower the mother straight after to keep perpetual harvests rolling in. though as another grower has stated you a need a large robust mother to take cuts though I will say if you dont want the plant and just want the cuts you can take them at around 3 weeks but you will kill the plant more than likely if you are butchering her for cuts before getting her into a place were she can be flowered the best way i have found is to FIM your mothers so you get alot of bushy growth which will not stress the plant too much when it comes to taking mulitple cuts meaning the plant will survive and thrive even after having the cuts taken. though its all down to you personal preferance hey they are your plants you do what the hell you want :) 👊
When selecting a mother plant to clone, look for plants that are healthy, sturdy, and at least two months into the vegetative cycle. You shouldn’t take a clone off a plant once it starts flowering.
