Now she's has evolved over this time to make their biggest and best flowers in order to attract male pollen. If she would benefit from having her fans stripped she would of evolved to do so. Like kid says every healthy leaf you remove is taking a source of energy away from that plant when it could be using that leaf to store energy to pump up your buds even more I know why most do it cause they have heard of channeling energy through the plant when this would require the plant to have a state of consciousness and to know which parts have been cut to "direct energy " to the effected area and plants simply do not have this it would require a brain.
