SOG AND SCROG are two completely different techniques that contradict each other. Sog is growing lots of smaller plants and focusing on one main cola. Scrog is better suited to 1 or 2 very large plants and spreading the bud sites over and under a net as they stretch for flower. Generally speaking, set the net 2 feet above the plant before you switch to flower. Then as the plant stretches in to the net, feed the stems through the net with the intention of filling out your whole ccanopy with even budsites 🌱👍

ScrOG tucking: expose lower smaller bud sites by tucking/compacting main cola branches?For a better yield, should I aggressively (but gently) bend main leading branches and tuck all shading fans to expose young 'undergrowth' branches (circled) and bud sites to light, or, inversely, untuck fans and straighten leading branches to give more light energy to them?

Defoliation for better ventilation?Should I defoliate/prune to ensure better ventilation? I am going to flip the plant soon. It is quite bushy with big leaves and sometimes it is difficult to water it as there are a lot of leaves down there.
And when is it better to put the net? Before of after the flip?

Light cycle messed up do I have leverage for one mistake?Timer messed up the cycle and stayed on for an extra 12 hours.. So in total she was, for 24 hours in light... Soon as I noticed I manually turned off.

To ScrOG or not to ScrOG?I've always used a scrog net to manage my canopy going into flower. Last run I had quite a time removing the trellis at harvest and ended up destroying it.
Should I just get a disposable trellis for this run? How were results running without a trellis?

Scrog advice please?When is the last time to keep tucking the tops back under before it's detrimental, also..should you top just before the big stretch or just mainly lollypopping and defoliation? I just see a lot of potential under the net and want it all to come through at least one top per squareWeek 1

Flower trimmingI've got several lower branches that aren't stretching high enough to get any good light, at what point during flower is it ok to get out the scissors? I think I might need to do a lil leaf trimming in the lower canopy as well. Could/should this be done at the same time? Thanks
