Should i top again?

My plants are topped and i used lst to pull my branches horizontal. When i flip to flower, i am going to place a scrog net. Should i top my main tips again before flipping to flower or just let them grow? Don't want them outgrowing other branches when i let everything grow up.

I would put the net up before you flip. Leavimg it a couple cm above your net. Then reevaluate your situation. And top where needed. Before the flip with Sativa doms with net being over, so you can guess view from above that your net is 70-75% coverage, then you can start bending nodes and pulling them with LST to make them flush with your net. You can then tie the middle of the nodes with looped string (make sure not to tight as you don't want cutting into nodes on expansion). When you feel you're happy with the plants overall potential coverage below the net, and you have nodes pre set as to where you want them to go. Then I'd flip. I'm also doing a scrog I'm far away from yours, as mine is just been topped lots to spread out like yours

Thanx @gottagosometime They are indicas (power kush) so the grow and stretch won't be big. Like you said, i let it grow a little more and later i will place my net and try to keep everything even. I think it's a good advice to not top and see how everything grows. This was also my first thought but this is my first scrog so i needed a little confirmation. šŸ˜Š

Well there is no wrong or right way persay. Just different methods. But, to fully achieve a scrog full potential (making lots of equal hight nodes ,some will be fatter (depending on how many shoots are on the node that's stretching. But, the aim of the game is to make them all even. They might not be all as fat. But getting the max ppfd as you can for each node is key to getting all nodes equal in strebght and ripeness.

And, yeah. If that's not topped at the very top. Then yes, you'd top all them. And then bring the top where the V would be and that would sit under the Net and the 2 new sites the V nodes will grow upwards making your even canopy. As does all these shoots need to be under or at net string level. That why when you start the stretch. You can adjust any overgrown nodes by pulling it down lightly to match the rest of the shoots. Its why you have all your nodes set on the net with 70-75 been full & clipped onto the nets. With sativas these shoots all mainly start growing and in a normally grow, they'd come together to make colas. But, here, a bunch say on a topped node at the top will now have 2 nodes that's have multiple shoots still to make colas. And the shoots at the end they need to be woven into your net as their shoots will have more growth to them, so therefore they need levering out with the top nodes. I suggest you look up scrogs. So often they're do mostly wrong on here
