I'm building a scrog net and was wondering how high to have the top net from the bottom net, or just a good rule of thumb....

High Braya,
The height of the first netting will be higher or lower, depending on the variety of cannabis being grown. Around 20 cm above the top of the pot is the right height for Indica varieties, 30 cm for Hybrid and for Sativa would be the best height around 40 cm.
For the second net I would recommend to add 50% from the hight that you choose for your first netting.
Then your top colas will grow perfect into your second net. And will use this net the best for creating a screen of green and support.

You're going to want to wait until your buds start popping to put up your second trellis. You may not even need it, as most growers only use a second trellis to support floppy buds.

That depends on the size of the plants. It is one of those "as needed" things. A tall sativa might need the net much higher than a short indica strain. If building something I would make it adjustable.

What size pot for auto's, I've only used 3 gallon, should I use 4-5 gallon pots next grow?I've only used 3 gallon pots for auto flowers so far, my question is what's the best pot size for an auto?
