Pretty new too growing , but is it just me or are auto flowers genetics going south? Seeing some weird plants out there

They have to keep going back to the auto flower gene to maintain the auto aspect instead of solely picking matches based on producing stable genetics. It throws a little curve in there every time. Just part of it. Some people grow them better than others?

Snapped branchI snapped 2 branches while training a few days ago.
I left them alone for a few days to see if they would recover.
They +- did but feel very unstable. Should I wait a few more days or just cut them off ?
