UNSURE OF HARVEST TIME

IndicaGirl
IndicaGirlstarted grow question 4y ago
I am in South Africa and planted late this year.. what I am not sure about is whether this will affect my harvest time. The Trichomes are still clear to milky with no amber that I can see. Do I leave her.. when do I make the decision to harvest?

Looking at your actual full bud pics, you're still a couple of weeks away

Hi, I'm in south africa too... I've grown hundreds of plants through winter, btw. Outdoors, uncovered (except when they're small and I can actually bother with that, which I did about 3 times last year, coz it got -6 here in jhb). I would give that another ~2 weeks or so. But it depends a little bit on preference. There's a lot of "fresh" growth on it, too. What gmslave says is correct, some things don't amber easily.

Hey IG.,Check your strain from other growers to see if their girls ambered. I have had strains that simply don't amber. Some strains just don't. If you have mostly cloudy trichs then your at max thc. The only thing that changes with some ambering is the effects. Cloudy active buzz amber couchlock, sleepy buzz. Cheers
