Hi mate, I do this and always have done for the first couple of weeks of my indoor grows. I always compare my starts to other grower and even though my CO2 level are higher than ambient, I notice the great progress mine has over some others. No need to change the light height as its not the intensity you are changing its the rest period you give the plants. They suck in CO2 during the day and expel O2 at night. Having high co2 levels will take your grow to the next level when using the 24hr -18 hr technique. She will drink more water when exposed to more CO2 so keep that in mind. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Same as UK420. But beware when you go from 24 to 18hrs that if you don’t move the light closer or turn the power up you are reducing the DLI (daily light intake) and will promote stretching. I ran 24 on my first auto to see and they really didn’t care for it once they get out of veg. And after a few trials they preform better and faster under 18/6. Everybody needs a little rest 😂 Happy Growing!

Each to their own I suppose I think at the very least you will be stressing them abit pulling them out of a routine but 24 hours is only really for very serious auto growers lol Its so much more beneficial for a plant to have a night cycle when compared to plants that dont have one at all. Plants on 24 will dry out quicker so you use more nutrients cost more through electricity and heat up your room alot more too.
