I would water a small amount around stem as the surface layer dries out. The first time you want to fully water, I would flush down to desired ppm with cal mag solution. You will have an excess nutrient buildup from watering that way but will promote better root growth. Just make sure to flush the first full feeding with cal mag and you will be fine. Happy Growing!!!

Hi mate, autos as a rule don't like to be transplanted and should be sown into their final pot. Watering is the same whatever substrate you use, as seedling you want to keep the soil around the stem slightly moist but not soaking. After a week or so and she has started producing nodes she will need watering every-time the substrate is dry. This will encourage root growth. Make sure you are adding Calmag every watering at half recommended dose as coco lacks the calcium that soil has naturally. PH between 5.6-6.1 is good for autos, 6.1 better for flowering stage. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing
