I am only growing one plant at this time and would like to know some good concepts and actions for storing water, keeping the PH levels at a workable level, and best feedings. Would 5 gallon buckets with air machine and PH kit be sufficient, Please your thoughts.

If you are growing in soil, a pH of anywhere between 6.2 and 7.2 will be just fine and your plant will grow just as quick and big as if trying to keep it at exactly 6.8 or whatever. Cannabis is an extremely tough and resilient plant and does not need everything to be exactly perfect. It certainly is not a delicate "princess perfect" plant as some people make it out to be. She will not mind if the soil is 6.4 or 7.1. Growing is about fun, not a competition in perfection. I personally can't see a real need for an air machine or worrying about pH too much, as long as it is not above 7.5 or below 5.5, your plant will grow more or less, exactly the same. Feeding with half strength nutrients to start with is ok too, it is very easy to correct a slight under feeding, but very, very hard to rescue a badly burnt plant that has been over fed. Congratulations for deciding to only grow a single plant, this way you can concentrate on one set of parameters and learn quickly, rather than having a confusing soup of feedback as can happen when trying to grow multiple strains at once and when you are new to cannabis cultivation. One tip that I can recommend highly and is something I still do after 35+ years of growing, is to have a diary and keep notes about everything you do and record any observations or thoughts you may have regarding the plant or about what you have tried doing. This makes an excellent reference for the future, for if you decide to grow this stain again, you will have your notes telling you that it does or does not like nutrient XYZ or whatever. Believe me, it makes growing the second/third/fourth time around much easier. Take notes about flowering time and growth rates too, it will allow you to choose strains which have similar requirements or give you an idea as to planting strain ABC 3 weeks after strain EFG as plant ABC grows and flowers faster than plant EFG for example, which will make harvesting both at the same time and freeing up your grow set up much more predictable. And writing it down as soon as you do it is advisable too, thinking you will remember everything you have done and exactly what, 3-10 days later, just doesn't work, especially if you mix a bit of herb into the equation!. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Yeah a 5 gallon bucket with air stone will be fine. You may have to alter the Ph when you use it as usually the ph rises a little over time.

If your planning on using tap and want to RO your water a 5 gallon bucket would be plenty with the air stones. Would recommend mixing the nutrients in your sprayer than PH as needed. I like to ph soil in veg around 6.3-6.5 and flower 6.1-6.3 after adding my nutrients
