Messed up humidity

Screwie
Screwiestarted grow question 3 years ago
I mistakenly left the extraction fan off last night resulting in 6 hours at roughly 75 humidity. Should I compensate today by dropping humidity to 30 or so?

Hi mate, You should get yourself a humidity controller. I use the Inkbird version. Very usefull bit of kit. I leave my humidifier on all the time and set it at a decent all round level. works great and never get issues with high humidity. I hope this helps, good luck and happy growing

Thanks for the advice guys. The humidity is fine during lights on without a humidifier so it doesn't make sense to have them on the same timer. Maybe my part of the world is different to where you are. Im northern Europe. About the humidity controller, well my grow tent is 60x60. Im wondering if it makes sense to get one of them. I agree i have to figure something better out for next time. At the moment its too manual to be checking myself multiple times a day.

No, just cut the fan up to bring the humidity to normal level then you can turn it back down and let them ride. If you put the light and humidifier on the same timer it will save you a lot of headaches worrying about mildew and mold. Happy Growing!!!
