In-line fan use

I’m just wondering how much to run an in-line fan. I’ve read every 1-3 mins, but I would like to know how long does it run in between those times? Is it constantly turning on and off? Do I need to put it on a timer? Thanks.

If you want to run it as temperature control a temp switch like the inkbird can be used or just for ventilation I run constant in and out. Cheers

RH too low in indoor grow. Solutions?I'm having a issue with my grow - RH won't go above 20%. With a humidifier inside, full power. Temperatures are between 21 and 25c and I can only think the air extractor is taking too much air out of the grow, as in the night, with lights and fan off RH rise to +80%. Any ideas?

Best Humidifier for 3x3x2 grow tent and best way to set up?I’m about to buy a dehumidifier. Finding one with programable humidity levels makes them too big 4 my tent & the small ones can’t be programmed to turn off when humidity is too low. I can't control temperature. I'm so discouraged.How are you guys keeping temperatures down!? I have an hlg 600 Rspec at 50% power and the Temps won't go below 81 degrees with the light on. I'm in a 71 degree house. 4x5 tent with a 400+ cfm fan and negative pressure. I also have fans blowing on the plants and the light.

Do any body have any experience in making your own carbon filter?Thinking about making one from two steel mesh "ovals" with +-2cm in between. Use some filtration cloth so the carbon don't go through the mesh. And will fill the space between the meshes with activated carbon used for this purpose. Do you think its going to work? Thanks

Air flow method I removed the hood from the home AC to run cold air directly into the grow tent with a 4 inch duct at the bottom. I have an inline fan to push hot air out to balance out the air pressure at the top. Is this a good idea or should I just have a fan inside with no in or out?
