How do you deal with the humidifier in hydro ?So I bought a dehumidifier as advised but now the room gets hotter (Had to setup an extractor to pull the hot air and now I have no intraction) and during the day EC goes up of 0.1 or even 0.2 (from 1.8 to 1.9 or 2). Connecting 2 grow tentsI have a 16"x16" small tent next to a 48"x24"x72" tent. With 1 small plant in the small tent, is there anything wrong with ducting the air from the small tent to the bigger tent where my carbon filter is. Seperate intake and exhaust for each tent. Has anyone tried this before?

Autos week 3 veg but only 4 nodes – could humidity swings be the cause?In a 60×60 cm grow box I’m using a single-membrane mist maker with an STC-3028 humidity controller. Even with the exhaust fan at the lowest speed, RH swings every 2–3 min (67%→63% in ~90s, then back in ~90s). Is this fluctuation OK? My plant has only 4 nodes in week 3 of veg.

How to vent grow tent?Venting into large basement area separate from lung room. Averaging 65% RH in tent. How can I vent my grow tent out a century old red brick home's original basement windows discretely? Or, can I vent into an old (capped) chimney without removing the cap? Lung room is 6x10.

I really don't want to use a fan because it probably increases the noise level of the box significantly. Thanks a lot for your experiences!

Tent heat - needs to go down. Tent gets to 30c when closed.I want an air intake or something that can cool down an 80x80x180 tent. I don’t have the option to put anything through a window and the air in the room around the tent is pretty warm, so I don’t know if an intake will help. - 1 Cli-mate mini Humi 300W
- Filter 125-400m³/h
The plants need about 140 m³/h of fresh air, so the fans have to be running at 50 - 60% capacity, right? Or can I go lower?Week 1

Maintaining VPDI've got my photoperiod doing well in a 2x2 tent. I'm trying to regulate my VPD with what I have on hand. Currently I'm running my exhaust fan for 8 minutes every hour to get an average VPD around 1, but I'm concerned about the swings. Am I micromanaging?

Humidity issues near floweringSo I installed an intraction (145 m3/h speed1) and aluminium foil on the pots but humidity is still hight like 75% when nightime and the lowest is 65%. Probably the water evaporates by the pots (drip, clay pebbles). I have no more ideas. Do I have to buy a deshumidifier? Thx !

4” filter upgrade help! SmellHey guys, I’m wondering what is a good recommended 4” filter for my tent? I got one that came with a fan, ducting and the filter off eBay but the filter is the shits. I had it vented in the room but the smell was brutal. It’s vented out the window under my deck, reeks there now.

I am having trouble keeping my RH lower than 65%. Any ideas (without using a dehumidifier)?
