it's going to be really sketchy..
can you test it with a throw-away plant? or, get it analyzed so you can adjust your mix down to compensate for what exists in the water?
you'll be flying blind and diagnosing what's going on will be incredibly difficult. try it and see if non issue... otherwise, i'd look into getting it analyzed and making some common sense adjustments.
jack's performs thos service and will help you customize the recipe for your water... maybe, your brand does this too? Might be more for a commercial operation, as i have never price-checked the service.
I think 2.1 ec is as high as you want when the plant's biological processes are in full-bore.
