Health is the most important factor in preventing fungal, mildew problems. Of course, environment affects that health (consistently too much moisture, not enough light, too much light causing metabolic stress, cycles of too wet, too dry, nutrient imbalances etc). So basically...uh try make it easier for the plant environmentally, and improve its overall health.

I think the pot is forming mold! A lot of moisture is accumulating in the wicker, the mold is rising, apply some antifungal in the substrate and on the outside of the pot. Don't wet the flowers because it will be worse! Remember that if you apply it in the substrate, you'll also kill the beneficial fungi, but you'll save the harvest! Let the soil dry out more before watering, it's a mistake we all beginners make.
