Height issue. Small tent. LED as high as it will get and the tops of my newly flowering efforts are a mere 3 inches from the grow light. A few fronds have burned a little. My ScrOG is nearly as high as it’s going to go. Is there a way to decrease height. Stakes in soil ?

stakes in soil sure, or HST : basically bend until you hear it crack but not until the stalks snap, then make a "band aid" with some duct tape so the stalk heals correctly. it's scary, but it will 1. control the height and 2. make the plant think it's under attack and make bigger buds - what s not to like ? hope this helps ! 🚀

There are a few options that were available to you and a few still a available now. The best remedy in this situation, in my opinion, would be to use LST (low stress training) to tie those stems down and lower the canopy from the light. Another method still able to used is a little more physical with the plant, but has been proven to show good results and that is the supercropping method. Essentially you roll/squeeze you fingers around the plant stem until it becomes weak and cant hold itself up anymore. Then you lay them across the SCROG/canopy tying them down. They will correct themselves very fast and be much further from the light. This method is a High stress training method used to boost yields. 😎

Sure it is. What you need to do is something called super cropping. It is some form of High Stress Training (HST). The idea is to take a still pliable stem and place it between your thumb and forefinger, then firmly press until you hear / fell a crush, without damaging the skin. This will allow you to bend the stem even a 90°, although it is advised to tie it down, because it will right itself up in a matter of days. Where you crushed the stem, the plant will form a callus. I've done this even in late flower without impacting yield. This kind of training can be a life saver in situations like the one you are now. Good luck.
