Mold, Mildew, or...?

white and yellowish stuff began growing in a bag of soil opened just a day or two earlier. wondering if it is mold/mildew or helpful stuff like rhizo. started growing on top of one cutting's soil after 3-4 days. Not using it until i learn more. Thanks for any thoughts.

i say its a bad batch of soil .. i would try and return it or exchange it for a new one

Well, it's not harmful to the pant, as it should only grow on top of the soil if you keep it too damp or moist.
However, it is a type of mold.. So I'd do as leafy suggest.. If you just opened the bag then go get a new one.. One not advertised for being "moist" in the bag.
Also, scrape top 1cm of soil in your pot and replace it with something new. It'll get rid of it in the pot. Just water less often and it shouldn't show up again..

Well I messed up a little I just pulled out my sticks I was using to label my seedlings and I find this white mold on them. I removed the sticks and dirt around should I use an anti fungal thing? I already have had gnats too but treated for them. This living soil is no joke eh

Mould on seedlingThis seed was late to spawn. Now it finally opened, even if it's quite short on the soil. I can see a fluff of mould just below the cotyledons. What should I do? Can I save it or do I risk contaminating the rest of the plants in the growbox?

First Grow 4 weeks into Veg - Let my humidity get too high for 1 night. Need help with mold/septoria/?Last 3 days I've pruned diseased leaves every morning, foliar sprayed peroxide leaves & topsoil, & added some to watering solution. Is only affecting one plant in tent. Humidity no longer issue (was waiting 4 inline fan). If I keep pulling off leaves it's going to die anyway.

Combatting powdery mildew with milk?I noticed some white powder on the leaves of my plant. At first i thought it might have been from the perlite, but it came back. So i suspect itâs powdery mildew. I took to google and it recommended me to use a milk/water solution. Will this work?Week 3

Bad soil can i change the soil halfway? 20lt pot 5th Week stunned grow for 2-3weeks. Not gonna give up on her might aswell kill her trying?Is it a bad idea to repot her with new soil, as one of my regulares had to be repot. I tryed to remove old soil, and gave her new soil, and she improved even more than this one who only got the ph fixed with vinegar. But the regular was on a 1lt pot. Thank you!

White bumps on stem? Ok or bad?Hi growmates,
I noticed some white/brown bumps on main stem near base.
Not sure what it is but dipped with white vinegar and some tea tree essential oil, will keep an eye on it
Did some light defolliation and aimed a fan at the stem.
(Rh=45-55% @ 24°C day/19°C night)

mold instead of seedlingsTrying to germinate our seeds right into the soil, planted 72hrs ago. Covered with mason jars and now have white mold starting to grow on soil. The temp has stayed around 22 and the humidity around 65%. Should I remove the seeds and go to paper towel method instead?

What are the cheap and effective ways you do to prevent rot?
