What the fuck is this strange brown growth on the tip of my cotyledon? (Sorry for the bad pics, will try to update with a better one this afternoon)

The cotyledons are enclosed in a little sac. It usually sheds with the shell but sometimes it sticks to the leaves like yours. If you moisten it then it will get soft, but it won't hurt anything. Good luck on your grow!
