The cotyledons are enclosed in a little sac. It usually sheds with the shell but sometimes it sticks to the leaves like yours. If you moisten it then it will get soft, but it won't hurt anything. Good luck on your grow!

Should I defoliate light-blocking leaves from my NL auto?My NL auto is at D40 and is growing well. She's developing a good lot of cola's with nice bud sites. Looking for opinions on a try of LST and a thought about taking off big fan leaves from the topHad a shot at LST training one of my girlfriend plants, just wondering opinion from people if it has been done correctly. I could use a little feedback about my variegated leaves. I provided pictures. I would say she has about 10% variegation. Ph, PPM, Temps, Humidity, are all within normal parameters.

Should I do a pre harvest defoliation a week before harvest?What are the benefits and consequences of defoliating a week before harvest? Is it good or bad? I have tons of foliage up top and need it to go away. It's too late in flower, but a week before will open up the canopy to the lower bud sites. Any and all help is welcome. Thanks!

What should I do with my plants that have grown thicc to receive more light? - First GrowMy plants (1 auto, 1 photo) have grown a lot and are now pretty thicc. Should I remove some leaves to allow more light directly on the new growths from the nodes? More agressive LST? Leave them alone? They have grown in a weird pattern because of my LST attempts (see pic).

Defoliate the center or leave her alone?My girl is short and dense due to early manifolding and LST. The center is crowded and there's not much light penetration or air flow there, though I do have fans going. I'm tempted to defoliate some older leaves crowding the center. Don't want to stunt it, though. Thoughts?
