Generally a plant can double to triple in height during the stretch. Training it while it's stretching helps to stop it growing into the light. There are various methods for training.

What could cause a Gelato to grow only popcorn buds?This is, luckily, not my plant but the sister of my Gelato Auto which for a long time did not want to grow. Hight ProblemsI’ve got 3 plants in my tent, but they’re all different heights. To compensate, I’ve hung my light at an angle, so one end is closer to the smaller plants.

Too Tall Small budsMy last auto grows shot up at 3rd week of veg and kept growing vertical up to the lights until the tent couldn't contain them, so I had to top them. Buon giorno weed doctors, did anyone have similar uniform chlorosis at the top or maybe knows what's up? What could be the reason and the solution? ThIs this some sort of immobile nutrient deficiency or excess? Could this be caused by heat and light stress? She is 80cm tall and almost touches the lights in the tent. I'm usually suffering from Calmag and Nitrogen issues and haven't yet experienced yellowing from the top. Thanks4 months ago

Weak and too long stalk?Stalk looks to be very thin and weak. The head (leafs) seems to be kind of too heavy for the plant. It was very long too but I added some more soil for more stability.
There was a short time without sun because I was not at home.

Plant too tall solutionI already know it's because it didn't had the light for around a week (I was away) and that I should repot it and burry it up to it's cotyledons. - I don't really want to do that, because it's 8L pot and the plant is really delicate.
