Generally a plant can double to triple in height during the stretch. Training it while it's stretching helps to stop it growing into the light. There are various methods for training.

Are we growing on track?Thoughts on my grow at the end of week 2? Am I on track? They seemed to be a bit stretchy don't you think? Flower Stretch and MainliningFlower Stretch Question When I flip to flower, she will stretch and about double in size. Does this include all the bare growth I have cleared off during toppings? ie, if the stalk at the bottom is 12" from the bottom to the start of the last topping, does that 12" count in?5y ago

Multiple plants turned male so not as much of a "sea" as I wanted. The ones that are left are extremely tall. It feels like they are to tall.
