Generally a plant can double to triple in height during the stretch. Training it while it's stretching helps to stop it growing into the light. There are various methods for training.

Droopy, purple discolloration, plastic like top leaves.Hey guys! Got problem with few girls. One is very droopy, 2 other have purple discolloration and big fan leaves and 1 is way taller then it should be. Also top leaves look like plastic and abit curled down. pH pen fault? Over wattering? What could cause a Gelato to grow only popcorn buds?This is, luckily, not my plant but the sister of my Gelato Auto which for a long time did not want to grow.
