Plants too tall in back row.

The plant's in the back row are too tall. We cut the tops of the trellis boxes off about 18 inches. Even with LST I still think they're too tall. With the plants in pre-flowering (10 days) should we cut the top of the plants off or is this a bad choice? What do you recommend?

Supercrop them and tie them down after you bend. Don't cut. ✌️

Dear grower, my recommendation is to cut the top again, save it, try as clone and go ahead. As result of that, secondary/lower branches will take the place of the top. Looking the structure of your plants, probably you will increase your yield too. good luck. ciao.

Hi, I also wouldn't cut them. Supercrop them and tie them down. Cutting them will be a big loss. By the way, very nice garden :) Happy growing, Y

Hello Being so early in flowering you could cut them still...but i think it would be a huge loss compared to the benefit. Personally I have gotten really into using high stress training and started using super cropping much more. I used to be afraid of it, just the name high stress turned me off it...but once I started it was actually very easy and moderately gentle and very helpful with tall plants. Just do your pinch and bend slowly over a few minutes and then secure the branch down but also support it with a bamboo stake or similar. Usually this early on they bounce back and heal quickly.👍
