Vegetation Lighting Schedule

I did 20-4 on my grow in soil to no ill effect, but my light is also not the strongest. Make sure you have good airflow, and that the plants get some extra CO2 if you go 20-4. Also, it depends on the strain. Autos utilizing ruderalis could technically go 24 hours of sunlight, as this is a natural condition in their environment. If it's an equitorial sativa, try to mimic that environment. Or, maipulate the sh*t out of it in a grow box. 18-6 will save you moola-cash-money, and 20-4 just means the plants will need a lil extra water, CO2, etc. Unless the strain can tolerate it. Or, go nutty, and grow it 17.46-6.54 or some non-sense. Have fun is the point!

Plants need sleep. Go with 17hrs on 7hrs off. You won't lose on yield and will save dollars in the long run.

I would go off how hot your environment gets. For me this time of year I wouldn't push past 18/6 I might even start my next as 16/8 as its that hot at the moment.

Depends on how you grow. If you grow with excellent conditions and a really good setup: 20/4. If you're growing on a budget: 18/6. The reason being that when the plant is in dark mode that's when the plant repairs itself.
